Mesh texturing problem

Well, for some reason, whenever I make a dark, grayscale mesh, it turns up lighter and brighter in DX. WTFBBQ?

Hmm... Make the texture darker to cover the relative error in shading?

It seems that the conversion to *_d.3d removes the "This should be this shade" effect.

Edit: Strange you should put this in the Scripting Society, but all's fair in love, war, and forums I guess XD

B.O.L getting this fixed =)

Nvm, I fixed it. It seems that the contrast was low.
