Hey any one know how to find out which face ure selecting in unreal fx because i dont have a clue how to get it.

Well look at the group. They all have like 1-2-or 3 something. In Milkshape you assigned a group from 0 to 1. In this case, if I have an mp5, mp5 gun would be group 0, clip would be group 1, muzzle flash would be group 2 and hands would be group 3. If you want a muzzle flash, you have to select all the faces that have a 2 and click Edit and do the effects you want.
If you have a weapontriangle, go back in ms3d and check out the penguin's groups.

Damn how did u know it was my penguin triangle.
But in unreal FX it shows 1000 and a half faces how do i know which is the face i want.

Like I said, it's the groups.
On the right side, of all of the faces, theres a number, like 0 1 2 etc
You hold down left click and select all the faces with the group number of your wep triangel.

You're supposed to be looking at the bits in the "Mat" (Or material) column. Those are your group numbers.

Oh thanks so do i just make the triangle i want to be an effect a new
material.
EDIT: ahh screw it im bored now with the penguin and its problems the weapon triangle worked thx guys but its kinda the wrong way.
Now Back to my Soldier.
