Help... I did something wrong :(

Postby [DA]Shadow » Sun Jun 10, 07 11:03 pm

Hey... Yeah I kinda messed up...

Well I was trying to make a window (without using a tutorial) and I added the class 'BreakableGlass' to a wall, by right clicking and pressing Add BreakbleGlass here... and now there is an invisible cube of.. well... glass and I don't know how to delete it :(

I suck at mapping :D

Thanks,
Shadow

Eep, those are generally not good. You could always try moving the red brush to where you think the item is, and then press the 'Select Inside' button (middle column, fifth one down) to highlight it and then delete it normally.

Alternatively, if you do know how to make a mover, make another BreakableGlass mover (properly), then right-click it and 'Select all BreakableGlass actors', which will select it, at which point you can deselect the real one and delete the other as above.

Your choice.

If you e-mail me the map, I can sort it. Essentially, view all actors in icon view and simply delete the actor in question.

That's the glory of UEd right there, you can use multiple routes to achieve the same goal once you've mastered it.
