Postby Alistair » Wed Jun 28, 06 4:15 pm

Instead of downloading moops map archive with the fix you can now download it standalone!

http://www.dxdb.co.nr

The reg file fixes the ability to join a DX Server from your browser.

How to use:

1.) Open zip
2.) Extract appropiate registry file to your operating system
3.) Double Click on the registry file.
4.) Restart if need be

Test the url below:

deusex://db.servegame.org <active>

Yeah it did, I tried it in firefox. The only thing is, why is there some "-hax0r" suffix when you load up the game? (I know that it enables cheats, but what's the point?)

At the time it was made DX was very active, I guess DaTerm was thinking of others who wanted to use cheats in SP. Like have the game fully active

That was what was needed to make it work. It wont work without it. Thats all the fix is iirc, just that simple modification. We tested it by editing manually, then when it worked just exported the registry key.
