I think he means playing demorecs out of DX, like windows mediaplayer for demorecs. :P

Due to the fact that to view a demorec, you replicate instances of objects and classes, you'd need the relevant system files that were present in the Demorec at the time, therefore meaning that a player would be redundant to simply playing it through DX

You could play a demo and record the demo itself with Fraps or something similar.

There one way to record Demo but then you need memory to handle the program. You know the program that you have that can work but you have problem with ram and the frame skip property : :shock:

Most of the video in YouTube about Deus Ex are made from Fraps.
It the only progrman i know that play Deus Ex Demo without Deus Ex. :wink:

I usually use Camtasia to record demos from Deus Ex so they're viewable in media players =]
