A solution for the GameSpy masterserver issue

As you all know, GameSpy will take down the masterserver per end of May.

Fortunately a solution is available, an alternative masterserver:
master.deusexnetwork.com

For instructions on how to use this masterserver, click here.

To fasten/facilitate the migration of players to this new masterserver, we request all serverhosters to install the following modification:
http://deusexnetwork.com/files/DX1/mult ... /DXNMSv2.u

To install, add the following to your DeusEx.ini (under [DeusEx.DeusExGameEngine])

ServerPackages=DXNMSv2
ServerActors=DXNMSv2.DXNMS

This modification will prompt players which are still using the GameSpy masterserver to change it to the new alternative masterserver, as shown here:

Oh, quick addition:

This new masterserver queries the gamespy masterserver, so you will still get the full list after switching to the new masterserver. So you don't have to wait till GameSpy is actually offline, you can switch right away.

Unfortunately there's a small bug in the script I originally provided.
Because of the bug not all players would see the window while they should.

I guess they don't do shutdowns in the weekend. We'll see upcoming week, but they have no reason to keep it online.

What's the serverlist like these days, are there many servers, many players? Myself and I know generally most of Alpha envisioned once the masterserver was shutdown that would be Multiplayer finished for the most part. Would be nice if that wasn't the case but if anyone's still playing perhaps they could update us on the current state?

DXAG so far iv seen max 8 players.

ATDM around 11.

Think the total amount of players on at one time recently was around 20 split (DXAG, 0 aug, ATDM).
