I just designed and put this together as a [V] sort of entry/holding page. Still in the process of tweaking/changing...

- Have the member list static. Not really any need for it moving and while its nice, I think the shince on the 'Vengeance' is enough for movement.
- Lose the hit counter. If you really want that info you can find it out in your CP webspace. IMO sites look alot more professional and better without some free little hit counter at the bottom. You have some excellent skills obviously and I dont mean this as any offense to the work you have done in the slightest, but to me those little hit counters are for cheesy little amateur websites.
- See if you could get the grey bg to fade off to black, making it all mix in together? Or even just make it black all together so that the site just looks like it has the metal plate bolted to it, then just have some subtle red bits in the bg.
Or hell, the other way to do it which would probably look even better, is to make the bg the same grey instead of black. That would be alot easier and probably have better effect. All you'd have to do would be to hide the straight line edges of the red bits and such.
With those small differences the site will fit into browser without the scroller on the side, and will all look as one rather than some awsome stuff thats put onto a black bg.

- I did wonder about the member list, and I think you've settled my mind.
- The hit counter was only temporary. But that'll come off now anyways, as I agree it looks bloody horrid!
- I'll definitely do something with the background but not yet. I'm kind of stumbling through this web design malark whilst I try and learn it all. I'm a Designer by trade, I work at a publishers doing mags and books but this web thing is a whole different ball game!
Appreciate the comments Mole. Thanks.Moleh wrote:Excellent job Dropdead! Very impressive that tbh! Only 3 minor things I'd change though.
