Has Slimline 2.0 ever been released?

If not, will it ever be released?

It has been cancelled and I'm busy with other things.

You can surely expect community site from Alpha though.

I dunno about other people from Alpha, but I personally didn't like:

— "socialializing 0auggers" (= ones who always divide people into "best friends for life" & "mortal enemies") (Papparoach, Majin, Soviet);

— "street smarts and those who sympathize them" (Zigzag, Sike);

— "respected legendary auggers who play DX from 1998" (some from this category were good people though);

— "new army of aug fanboys" (Spaz and the likes).

This is irrelevant to skill of those players, they just often behaved like morons in-game.

my favourite mods for DX are Hotel Carone, Cassandra Project and Burden of 80 Proof

from the multiplayer ones, hands down - the winner is MainMan's City

What are your current PC specs?
Do you play any CPU/GPU-intensive games?

When you're going to apply for a new job, that specifically deals with administration, or coding, or project management etc. Do you think you will mention your time here in Alpha boards?

When I applied for my job, I also told in my resume that I did some import/modelling work for some "international businessmen." :P

I work on basis of portfolio, I show them actual recent websites (but not DX related, no) to convince them of what I am able to do.
So no, I don't use DX related things. I do use projects I make together with Eugene as example.

it seemed a little bit boring for me, I still plan to replay it some day though
maybe that was because I played part 1 long before part 2 and part 3

of course; online — only CS:S from time to time, and singleplayer — when I buy a new game. GTA IV sucks on PC though :(

I will definitely mention my time in Deus Ex, because from 11 years I spent in the internet, 7 years went in Deus Ex community, and we did really a lot of stuff.

I know that Ded has also used Project 2027 to apply for a job and he's been accepted.

Dae, I think you should write a DXMP story like I did.

I am very much interested on your neutral, unbiased viewpoint from early days to now.

Who came up with the tagline 'We fight for Deus Ex', taking the coding side of the clan into account?

This thread brought a single manly tear to my eye.

Polling for Klop was the single greatest idea ever.

Also how did the amazingness that was BFP_Christmas come about in only 4 days?

AND I AM BETTER THAN JON. I will also meet James, Ben and Ruben, Ruben is only a matter of time.

That is all.

What was the secret project you guys needed the money for?

And another:

Are you handing FLCity over to someone else for completion, or do you expect the community to just forget about it?

There are too few people in the community capable of handling the project of that scale, and if they wanted to, I'm sure they'd prefer to start their own project with own style and vision of things.

Besides, there isn't much to show. We've made several attempts to make the project, and by 2007 we had several unfinished codebases + a lot of other code that we planned to include. TestZone had to ease the development process by making it gradual, and as well accumulate all FLCity/RPG code into one solid package, called FLUltimate.u.

In other words, TestZone was FLCity — in terms of coding. If we didn't retire, by Autumn 08 we'd have had a new map draft (not just two fields as in TestZone), that would start gradually growing into a real, full-featured FLCity.

If people are interested and Alex & Derek allow me to, I can release TestZone sources into public some time.
