a LAM is sort of a projectile
a Projectile is any flying object, really
something with speed direction and that

but, in a game, or when referring to weapons, projectile understandably refers to an object literally fired from a gun, eg, a bullet, or shell

therefore it is safe to say that ADS stops projectiles

i never really thought about that before

if todays standard launched grenade is 40mm, then obviously thats half the size, but on most games, if u take a grenade launcher (eg M79) then what looks like as the projectile would be at least 80-100 mm, hmmm strange

anyway the 20mm physics on both halflife and dx suck, UT Flak Cannon secondary fire grenade was the best of its time
