You don't need any augs or skill upgrades to complete the damn game.

Give me sheller, give me plasma rifler, give me knifer, whoever who does not use rifles. Ill trash him. On top of that not every rifler that is good in augs can play 0augs well. In fact, he wont play it well, not before he actually trains himself in 0augs. 0augs is a different gametype with a completely different approach to the game. Hed have more luck at 0augs with CS experience than atdm experience.

What about a person who uses all weapons? :D Will he suck at 0aug?

DXSP - There is much to be gained from playing DXSP. If you set out to save ALL life, including your sides, enemy sides, and all animals... and not steal anything that didnt belong to you, then you are a pro and it is not easy at all.
One firefight has like 14 different people shooting at each other, to save them all is hard...

DXMP - fight with lowtech weps sometimes, you learn timing and aim faster than spraying and camping with a sniper...and u also learn defence and movement quicker perhaps too... but of course assault gun is the standard beginner wep...

DXMP - Fight against good players, dont join the winning side. Take a beating, learn the hard way. Your reactions will improve, when u see how fast you have to be to beat the top players. It's a question of whether u can be arsed or not... stfu about teams, ping, lag, medlag etc... I DONT CARE... concentrate, focus, be determined to win, fight 1 v 6 why not, so friggin what u lost, you gained skill and experience and learned something

You just have to keep playing, know the maps, know the enemy and what they are likely to do, anticipate things, and suddenly one day, you will click into place and things will be good, just keep playing, however hard...

If he is an elitist tard then yes, most definitely. If he has played 0augs before quite a bit, whether he wants to admit it or not, then he will be of some challenge.

Of course there is no doubt about which gametype is better for fast reflexes and generally better form. However, this does not immediately mean the player somehow magically possesses the actual skill for 0augs.

If you take messiah, then he sucked quite nicely last i played him in 0augs (and he is one of those who never play it in the first place)
If you take monkee, then well.. he was good. No doubt about that. However, surprise surprise, he actually played 0augs at some point.

Ultimately what I want to point out really, is that the whole "auger is good 0auger" statement is hilarious and often cited by people who dont have a clue what they are talking about.
"auger can aim in 0augs" statement is more appropriate, but not 100% true either.
If you take a player that has never played 0augs, but has extensively played atdm and css, then you have a 0auger that is miles better than any atdm player.
Thats my 2 cents on this.
