well, i guess augged/non augged games are a 2 blade sword...

On the one hand, you could become so reliant on augs to boost dmg, that you forget how to point a gun without Targeing on (Lol)

but on the other hand, Using augs is using an advantage you have. If someone is a brilliant shot with a sniper, but also cloaks a lot, use Vision enhancement to take 'em out on the move

same really applies to non-aug, you could become so hooked that you fear to touch the F-keys incase you turn speed enhancement on by accident ,

but it teaches you down-to-earth strategy, the foundation of all good players(Not me then, i just go for the vents, and lob lams down em lol

Some random thoughts... 0 augs is todays dx. If you are dxer you play when dx has in store. If you call 0 auger gay I call you fag, fag. Problem? Our average auger today is a cocky sob crying for the days that were. I don't think thats exactly the best way to advertise augs among sadly 0 aug oriented community.

I talk with people and try to make them play augs but somehow majority doesn't seems to realize that augs are fucking huge fun.

How about a project, similar to hybrids tournament but with different goal. We convert clans one by one into playing augs. It happens smoothly and it happens with lot of help from actual augers, not by some bitchy banana eating hairballs... metaphorically speaking, of course.

mushrooms are going to grow on ur back be4 augs will ever fully come back by themselves. u gotta do something for it to happen. what about the conversion idea? we have 0 aug clan. We make a race which clan can get started in augs fastest and we provide them with loads of help etc. In the process they would discover how much fun augs are

So how good of a player would you be if you could play Augs and Non-Augs? And when I say this I mean that you know how to play, so you're not hooked on anyone of 'em; Non-Aug or Aug.

You just play both like when you feel the mood to or whatever, how good would someone be knowing how to play good like that?

you will never be the best at either of those gametypes if you dont care lol. being able to play augs or 0 augs doesnt mean much imo. what matters is how well you can play something.

I've gotta bump this.......

When I played, there were 2 or 3 0aug servers, they were flamed, tormented and destroyed on their 0aug servers. The fact of the matter is this. When all you use is a sniper rifle (For 90% of 0aug servers) and you're used to picking off people with speed, who are jumping some heights into the air, you can EASILY pick off someone who's jumping a foot, and moving exceptionally slow.

I love seeing the 0aug players come onto the aug servers, and ask to have all heavies removed from the server. They don't understand how to use their augs, (have they played singleplayers?) and are beaten to a pulp more often than not.

I played 0aug a few times, and it was so boring that I had to stop.

Playing with augs is the way that the game was MEANT to be played. Sure they gave you the option of removing all of these augs, and changing the gravity to some strange variables, but that doesn't mean they wanted the whole game to be like this. Now I'm not saying that 0aug should not be played, but I am saying that I would not have left the game (never officially I don't think) if there had been a few good aug servers with high population. For some reason everyone moved to 0aug, and that's boring.

I'm glad to see that augs are back with a vengence, and though I'm busy with school I'll be on now and again simply to put a bullet through your head. All of you 0augers I WILL use gep, plasma, and HE because I know you hate it, and I know you'll never switch your augs.

Switch your augs all the time, every game, when you face any person. It's the best way to own everyone. If they knife, switch to tank (and shoot their legs off, that's amazingly fun), if they are gepping, use ADS, if they are using plasma or crossbow, switch accordingly. You need to keep up with the players. 0augers would get owned in aug servers for a long time before they learn to play, but an augger can EASILY switch to 0aug and rack up the kills.

Aug owns you oldschool.
