So is the link working??? Uhm this clan has been up for about a year.

Our clan has been in existence for about a year and a half now. We currently have three mappers, zero modders (I can only mod a little bit), and we have about 3 fighters. If you are interested in trying for our clan in any of these conditions, feel free to do so

Note: Our main focus at the moment are fighters. When applying for the )P(atriots clan, if possible, try to obtain a screen shot of yourself doing great in a match, this will increase your chances of being accepted into our clan.

Yes, our link is fixed as well. you will only be able to enter the website by either entering in.. http://dxpatriots.4-all.org or dxpatriots.4-all.org . Typing in http://www.dxpatriots.4-all.org or www.dxpatriots.4-all.org will not work.

How is calling our symbol unappreciative and unappealing to the eye a compliment? Look the word up before you tell someone that "the reverse brackets are not very asthetic" is a compliment.

I always insisted that alpha forum (besides our own clan forums here) is a neutral forum, where conditions are fair for all its visitors. Though it's a rare case when "neutrality" plays a role against you: if you created a topic here about your clan, be pleased to accept any comment, good or bad --- as long as it doesn't violate the Rules. "Neutrality" means that your topic is somewhat a "common property", not one's personal recruitment space. Moreover Mainman's comment wasn't offensive, it's was a fair criticism which is suitable for this place.

I've already had some dealings with this clan.. I was banned from a server by one of their members because a while back I refused to help him sabatage another clan's server. But I managed to talk to their leader who's informed me he's going to deal with it.. so I think the clan should be a pretty good one. Or if anything it shows their leader will take care of any problems that occure within the clan.

What an odd arguement.
In my opinion, the reverse brackets are, while somewhat odd looking, also an original concept. Most clans dish out the usual [] {} () type of thing. This is traditional, and will of course always be the most popular choice. But I do like the reversed brackets simply because they haven't been used often.

PS. If you reply to this with a list of dead clans with reverse brackets in their names, I will dropkick your dog.

I dont know of any proper clan whos used )( before, simply because it looks fucking odd, but then again its a matter of originality.

Edit: I think RF used ¤)RF(¤ as a tag, I could be wrong, they lived for a month or two anyways.

I think Mainman was being constructive and friendly... I can't stand it when people say "nice" about my work... a true friend will speak their mind without fear and not hold back and offer something useful, e.g. Jon and Magus re: my maps lol. "nice" helps me diddlysquat... I pretty much agree with his comments too, it's hard to read, hard to read quickly in a game and a little confusing... but it's your choice.

I asked about your clan, cos often new players are looking for a clan and ask me on FGS servers about clans to join...and there seems to be many new clans around atm... good luck finding your recruits...

Yes, I agree that we all have our issues with other clans in certain ways, Dae is right in the sense of posting in another Clans' forums and advertising another clan can cause in unexpected Comments/Remarks. Even though the most ideas such as the revered brackets are odd, everyone must embrace in new different Ideas, twists.
