Deus Ex Alpha

I am posting to find some people who might be interested in helping the league in some way. If you are interested, reply here and we can discuss further details through pm.

This isnt a huge project, I could use some help with pretty simple things such as possible graphical elements, reliable team of administrators, and so forth. Why not use a bit of imagination and suggest some spot on your own.
I also had the idea of someone who knows his way with words to perhaps write a cover of the more interesting matches. He'd be guaranteed a spectator seat of course.

There will always be two spectator seats available as the matches are all now 4v4.

edit: also I was thinking Ken, after this has got off the ground, a deathmatch tournament could be run

I have drafted the possible numbers and how it works ( ages ago tbh, but the bloodly information got lost because of stupid IPB. I redid it though, so if we could get enough reliables and some back-ups it would be very excting.

Id gladly help in some way if i could.

@ cyrus: doh i forgot, you properly deserve a spot there, we've chewed through some issues with the league together, starting from scoring system

see for yourself. Particularly, right now the only thing might be the banner. It is not DX, it is flash, and it is only thing stopping the site from being xhtml compliant right now. I was thinking of simply ripping the frame elements from the banner (it includes copyright so it has to be there of course), and then including actual text somewhere along with something dx-related. Could be simply screens of ie mj12troop and nsf troop etc. I just want to get rid of the flash.

Actually, you have already contributed to the site, that green dot you made yesterday was for it, i however dropped the idea of using it, found it bit interfering with the overall style after all

@ ste: well youve played in ladder matches havent you, go through the site content and perhaps suggest something.

lets bet who wins, N has surprising secret weapon now, if alpha can gather your best, the 3 clans will annihilate all other clans. Struggle for first place with 3 best lineups will be amazing.

Oh, personally Id like to start the league this week. Ill talk with imperial to see how we can work out the details, such as selecting the pairs. Random selection with some program is best I guess.

Selecting pairs? As in, give a match to happen?

Maybe, but if we do this, strictly no given date should be given. Reason for this is I don't want to rush the clans, especially if they aren't ready. They must prepare in thier own time, so they can get a definite match date.

Also, the website isn't finished is it?

Website only needs registration form to be fixed, as a quick solution, and well.. there is enough time to fiddle with it, lets play

Besides, as I mentioned you, Id like to keep registrations open at least to the end of the first matches, where each clan has fought at least one enemy.

well the rules from the forums need to be added, as does the information, which asnwers pretty much everything you need to know

In info i have added how mathces will now be 21 minuets? What do you think of 21 minuets per round?
Also Ken, i set up a topic for all clans to vote for their first three map preferences through posting.

Finally, 3 rounds set ye? Not 5 rounds as well?
