I got the server up with all the settings and maps just like GODZ used to be!
Everything but the "Realistic" rifle. If someone can give me that and tell me how to install thanks!

GODZ was great for beginners. And now we have Beginner's Only, clearly (was? Haven't seen it in a bit...) the best server.

I've got nothing against NoChanc, he runs a great file sharing site, and has helped me with tech support in the past. What does [A] have against him?

GODZ was alot of fun back in the day, a good place for new players to learn the game, as i did, and im sure alot of us did.

Attacking someone for hosting a server is the biggest bullshit I've ever heard. What a piece of shit is that you people are doing? Everyone who hosts a server helps DX survive. It's not the server who kills DX, it is this kind of part of the community. GG.

I just say you guys attack everyone whp has a different opinion about general stuff. Attacking someone for hosting a server is the biggest bullshit from all of this.

The GODZ members did not visit the GODZ server because when that most hated GODZ server started being hosted (yes the shitty server that was hosted 2005, after the good GODZ server closed in early 2004), the only GODZ member that was left was Nochanc himself.

If you're going to help the community.. don't do a half ass job.. we don't need another Replica of that shit server. But if you must do it, keep the rilfe off..... nobody liked that damn thing anyways.

It never ever gets mentioned ever, lmao. I stopped playing the game when I turned 18, which is like 3 years ago. When I did originally join Godz, it wasn't that bad, there were like at least 3 Godz servers up, the forums were popular, and I made some really good friends on there, shame some people had their heads shoved so far up their asses they had to run away to make a new forum, even though people like Jim made a huge effort to keep the clan going and had his server on 24/7.

I wish people would stop saying: "OMG YOURE KILLING DX DO NOT HOST THAT NOOB SERVER". Because they are wrong. The more servers you find on the list, the more popular DX becomes. Doesn't matter if some servers are shit, they are not for beginners. Beginners go to Beginners only server. Easy.

Definitely some ppl do not like servers for beginners. [GODZ]_Ship was flamed until I removed it from the server. I actually think its a great map, and despite what pros say, it's very easy to keep your deaths low there. The only ppl who whined about it were pros, and I think the only reason was simple, they hadn't figured out how to survive beginners with a lot of lams.

They're not pro's if they whine about that, more like people who think they're everything, and find out they aren't simply as they can't counter it.

I don't hate servers for beginners, as long as they allow the players to actually improve, instead of keeping them at a shit level with some fucked up "realistic sniper" which requires no skill. I'd prefer lams out of a 0 augs server, but it's not unplayable with lams.

Well, I wasn't a big fan of Godz, but with much reluctance, I have agreed to recreate the Godz Rifle for Bill.. I'm currently waiting for him to come online so we can test it. Though I hated the rifle personally, If used properly, it might not be a disaster this time.. The biggest problem the Original Godz had was: Not only did you always get gassed, Gepped, Lammed, and spawned Killed, You also had to try to make it more than 30 seconds without being shot with that damn rifle. If Bill manages to balance things out, then the rifle alone is no different from some of the custom mods i've seen.. only difference is it's amplified in power.. I just hope I don't end up regretting this.

I'm thinking Funline is for children. Cause most who play are under the age of 16. Funline is good for them. But, I rather them play on Normal servers than Funline ones. So they could improve skill.

If the Godzserver was so shitty, then why did so many people play on it? I remember there being 12-25 people on at most times of the day.
I started out on Godzserver without a clue and got good and had fun from practising there, even though it lagged like hell with a 2k ping most of the time.
I didn't even notice the difference between the rifles there and in other servers.


If you think a server or the weapons within are rubbish, just ignore it and play a different server, don't complain and flame about it or try to ruin other peoples fun by stopping the server.


Just... let people play what they want to play, I guess.

Everyone complains about it. However, I've never seen the rifle either.
As far as I know, it caused the 3x zoom damage even is unzoomed or something. Or perhaps an AWP with auto fire lol

LMFAO my fav server glad its back so has anyone made the rifle?
I use to love to toss those lams in the little hut and would blow everyone up in the spawn ROFL....

Yes, actually I've made the gun, and am currently awaiting bill to get his ass on msn so we can test it out... so far he hasn't come on.
