Deus Ex Alpha

This is just a little idea. And somebody must of tried it before.

If everybody shows people that don't play DXMP the DXMP download, and ask them to have a little go at it. And if they like it, ask them to stay on the game.

This is just a little idea on how to get DXMP bigger. Not very good I know but it's worth a try by everybody right?

I've told all my friends about DXMP but they're only interested in CSS, the faggots.

I know, I have CSS and I only played it for a bit and got board, however, with DXMP I can't get board of it!

Many people have quit Deus Ex just to play CSS.

Papparoach, Trollied, Smarties etc.

Mantra fell victim to CSS. Maps for it also.

Ouch, that's bad. So did Obliviater, 0o7 did but I got him back into DX .

I played a game tonight on Deus Ex, made me realise how much i miss the game, i didn't get too bad a score an all

You see, if people from CSS do come back to Deus Ex they will like it even more

He signed up on my site also a couple weeks back.

Does that mean that Mantra is coming back onto Deus Ex? O'r just the community?

excuse me if this sounds a bit rude: But why would I invite my friends to a game where they're going to be hacked simply because somebody doesn't like them, the same game where people take clanning to a whole new level of "taken to seriously", the same game where servers have gotten taken down simply because of it's type.. I've advertised the game on one forum I visit, but apparently they already knew some about this community...... Guess the words out more than what we may think... But that's just something I was thinking about..

I had been playing CS:S like 2-3 months a year ago, but eventually I got bored<s> and installed Lineage</s>

what happend to DXMP.Lite, or the one you guys made? Dejavu has made one but I heard its quite bugfull.

I've got several ppl to get into Single Player, but only one person into DXMP.

Other people that tried it and went back to Xbox, complained to me about

1. Laggy servers
2. It's virtually impossible for a beginner to enjoy being repeatedly massacred, they saw no point, being the only beginner in the game.
3. Deus Ex is a chatroom
4. Noobery is quite spectacular, in comparison to CZ or CS:S or Rainbow Six.
5. The server list is almost empty and unpopulated.
6. Combined with lag, the graphics and some maps leave a lot to be desired.

The good comments...

2. Can map.
3. More scope to make it interactive.

I think someone I would be willing to host a server with a password and we go round like A REN N FGS B EL ect saying the password so all are brilliant players, a payed one would be ideal Im thinking of buying one like that ill give it another month to see if the population goes down or up.

lol me and alex done a post like 10 seconds appart, on my old comp the dvd drive broke so we downloaded one off this its brilliant but the problem is hosting servers.

Whoever mentioned hacking and such, it is also very much true. In the end they only succeed at having people move on to more active games where people like batch would never get any attention, as there would be tens or hundreds of little batches, and their actions would be ignored or met with proper measures.

I like how Alpha has managed to solve or attempt to solve some such issues.

Hearing That DXMP download is laggy. Even heard Slimeline is laggy for some. I gave the game to a few people some got lag from it. But, all of them gone now. They don't play no more. I guess they got owned to much.

It's strange really, I used to get owned on DXMP alot, but not as much anymore. It took me a few months to be abble to kill some people .

The only way you can play DXMP is if you are a persistant player and don't want to quit.

But it seems like many people are not persistant. I think it's better to play DXSP for a few months, and complete it and then start onto DXMP.

That's how I got onto Deus Ex Multiplayer. By playing SP for a few years. And not a single touch onto MP.

I never knew about DXMP. Until i was snoozing around. XD

Same here, took me a few years to figure out how to play DXMP .

That's why I probibaly didn't quid DXMP because I knew how to play properly.

I don't even tell them about the free download, I just burn the files on a rewritable disk and give it to them to install. Most of them played Unatco Island then just went back to CSS.
