DEDM: Last Man Standing



O.k. So basically this is a deathmatch tournament that I have had in mind for some time now. It will consist of a 32 man tournament, spread out into 4-5 rounds in total, with heats for each round, one heat consisting of exactly 8 people. In the first round there will be 4 heats, in which 4 will advance from each one. The other rounds,how many advance and how many will be in each heat I have yet to decide. It will be a 45 minute match, of basically holding up on your own.

Anyway at the minute I just want to see if there is any interest. Once the 32 slots are filled, we can begin, however I would take names of people after that, as a backup, in case some fail to turn up.

Thanks. I hope this will work because it's more widespread than the clan tournament as anyone can join. ( The clan tournament is put off for me for the time being, until I can see clans can be active in it again.)

But , wont the server lag with 32 people? And surley the hoster would need Quad Core , insted or Core 2 Duo? As there would be too many deaths.

It's split into heats. There won't be 32 people playing each other all at once

Biggest game I Ever had was about 32 people or something.

They had that once on Platoon Server , pity its not up any more.

The day would most likely be Sunday.

I believe I will play too. To be honest it looks a bit better than the clan tournament because it doesn't need whole clans to be organised.
