Ok, these pics are made 10 min ago on Bumblebee his server , player is him , he was messing arround with emp jump , as i think thats not of a big deal though , but then he came up with the unlimited cheat and saying me do u know how u do that , and he typed it ... the emp jump he was learned from [ARM]Carnage , out of old experience ive been through this is illigal in the deus ex community and Bumblebee told me the cheat was told by carnage to after i spammed who told him that.. , from the min i sayed that it is stricly forbidden and illigal to use that cheat he spammed Carnage didnt say that !!! i learned it out my own... now i dont know but ive been there and learned from my foolish mistakes ..so i wanted to put this forward (sorry for my not so perfect english )

Um ok, so he was just EMP jumping, or making loads of EMP's? It's not hard to get loads of emp's if they server isn't running anti cheat mods:

Well- oh, actually... thinkin bout it... there are the variables.... but only ppl like Kai know them. Like infinited LAWs n stuff.

But anyhow... where was I... oh yeah... the actualy "unlimited EMP" 'cheat' most people use is the EMP bug. I won't go into details but it involves a bit of lag and a nice comfy corner.

no , u are wrong there , few ppl know about this cheat , it actually lets u throw unlimited emp's with only having 1 ... where u normally see next to ur emp there says 1 , n/a well , when u activate the cheat it changes to this , n/a , n/a wich allows u to throw as many as u want , there is actually one .

if its his server, he can do what he wants with it tbh

Kai just got people to tell him stuff, then guessed untill he got it right lol.

its so much easier to do it with the admin lol. Even I have never tried spamming nades in mtl servers, simply because to me its more hassle than its worth.

So basically what you are saying is: a player hosted his server, logged in as admin, and messed around? How is this cheating? If he throws lams at you and you dont approve, then leave his server.

Let me bring you an example of cheating: [RTK]Bartender fighting under godmode for several maps in his or some other RTK member's server. The server had perhaps 6 people having serious game.

The difference here is: RTK banned if people confronted him, and it wasnt immediately obvious to others. Bumblebee quite obviously messed around there, not even trying to score.

That's not really cheating either, it's Admin abuse, cheating is:

Going onto SunnySide, giving yourself unlimited ammo + 9999 health, and killing everyone. (Without admin I might add)

Unless the admin is like: "lol i got godmode wut ya gonna do" id still consider silent god-moding one of the most simple examples of cheating, as its purpose is to "own", not to show the superiority as an admin in control. If the log said: "Player has enabled godmode", then it would be adminabuse, imo.
While "ghosting" is nothing but admin abuse.

my point is carnage says it to every noob... how to do that cheat, and what do noobs?

what cheat, its a friggin console command. while i cant remember the variable that set the shottime, the reloadcount is really easy to remember lol. I can name perhaps fuckin 50 people who know about this.. id say less people know about shooting "through" unbreakable windows. Doesnt mean us few dont use that "bug", or feature.
Alpha is a large clan, and Id say every damn member that has been involved in modding even a little bit, knows how to set the reloadcount XD
Even klop could do it in his sleep.

If it was your own server nobody would have cared.

it wasnt my own , i was rtk peter his server , and he granted and we had fun...

If you said that at the time people would've stopped bitching you. o_O

believe me, the real playas really didnt care

but, all this doesnt mean this isnt serious problem. It can and will ruin a good game, but I think alex has fixed it in his mods? So.. if this happens in popular public server, over longer period, itll be a witchhunt, with a grand finale.

Every fighting server should just install the small CRMD anti cheat mutator, deals with it.

I was playing DXMP_Dead-Eyes on Licentia Pugno today, and for those of you who dont know, it's a snipermap, with a fairly large distance between the two buildings (which you can't leave).

For a giggle, I summoned a sawedoffshotgun, and a no-named player was like "OMG ur cheating!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP CHEATING".

Methinks he didn't understand the point.

Btw - the opposite teams ALWAYS spawn in the opposite building. My shotgun was useless.

Cheating? No.
Irresponsible admin use? Probably.
Harmless? Fkn course it is!

Bottom line is, you dont spawn shit in public server (sometimes for some its harder to resist, than for others).

"For fun" doesnt really qualify as good reason.

You're fairly new to dx still, and definitely very new to server hosting/owning, so I am not surprised, and neither should others be. So they play in RTKM instead, or something like that.


Sometimes funky things can come out of newb-bought servers though, I recall when the map playtime used to be 60 minutes or something for gamesmajor got 100+ scores there even with outstandingly shit computer, and overall with lot of players it was... interesting XD
