Deus Ex Alpha

Some of you may already know this from talking with me in-game,but I am planning to bring back the old eGo clan.

The first one was headed by Cpt. Crunch, but eventually died out due to lack of dedicated members and internal strife.

So,I have a few things to say regarding this.

First of all,if you were in the original incarnation of eGo and would like to join again or help us get started in some way,let me know. Though,we'll take new members as well,we aren't picky... yet.

Second, the Captain and a couple others had worked on a clan map based on Big Flying Party. If I remember correctly,it was called the eGo clan base or something similar.

Now,I know a bunch of people like to decache and collect maps,so what I'd like is to find out if anybody has this map in an archive somewhere. Its not incredibly important that I find a copy of this map,but it'd be nice to have some sort of clan map to host for the time being.

I've several plans for new clan maps,and Deathwatch and myself will be starting work on these within the next bit.

eGo could become a clan of moderate size again if we get enough interest from people wishing to join,though we are content to remain an obscure mapping duo.

In what year did eGo exist?

eGo was around in 2007. I'm not sure exactly when it started since I came later on. I joined around April or so,I believe.

Well,it died out a while ago,but I recently came back to Deus Ex and found it gone. :'(

eGo was a funline clan right? cause they never played 0 augs or augs

Did they not all become DX-ST or somethin. I think the map ur on about had a fortress on top of the map that fired a cannon or somethin. Terrible map!

Yes,we played funline type games for the most part. As for the horrible map,it was a beta version and had a lot of glitches :/ If I can get a copy,I'll attempt to finish it off.

I'm not sure what happened to all the other members,though I did run into a couple the other day. Once we build up a bit,we can branch out and do some 0-aug games as well.

I play 0-aug fairly often nowadays,though I'm hardly the best player. I hang around on the HongKong server as well,just generally mucking about with other people.

As for speaking Hungarian,no I don't. Just english for me,though we'll recruit others as long as they have a basic understanding of english.

(eGo) Was a Clan that ended up like DX-ST Before its 'Elaborate' Death either way i will help with mapping but i will not join the clan.

Well Batchy,if you had known us you would have remembered we were some fun people to mess about with.

Your are entitled to your opinion,but the next time you decide on giving it try not to be an asshole. Some people don't like that, me included.

MainMan you didn't know about eGo I suppose,because you were working on your MMCity mod pretty much the whole time. A lot of us actually played it,but you effectively missed us.

As for your offered mapping help Devie, it would be greatly appreciated. We've lots of ideas but have not the skill to implement them yet. By the way,in your signature the quote tags are backwards.

l know about it l was in is my self but when l was the only one out of 4 still lalking on the forum l left there was to much lack of comunication any way SOZ cant join im taken instead of looking for the (eGo) Base map look for there (eGo) RPG_City that with a few more tippes here and there would work and if you were thinking about making any more RPG's l would be happy to help!!!!!!!
