I seem not to improve at all, why do I suck so mutch, maybe is it because I use arrows, I have no med bind but that cant make that much difrence.
Its getting annoying, not matter how hard I play I still suck, just ask raiden I sucked today, and I do all the time.

Two words: Training. Sessions.

Oh, and two more: A. Lot.

Try having 20 fps on good days, when you use a medbind you get 8

Determination and confidence.

The best players know they're a least a little good, that gives them a little push to hold on to their position.

Generally the best players seem to be stuck up themselves though.

Also Dae uses arrows I believe, and uses ctrl and numpad 0 for scope and things like that I guess.

I use arrows too. Although only for DX, every other game I use wasd. For augs I even use wasd.

The best players of the game I know usually knew they had some skill.

You'll find that a lot of things have changed though. I find the good players nowadays seem to believe they're hot shit and don't bother to help out the newer guys. To be fair, the skill level now is nothing compared to what it was. I've noticed that it only takes some people a month or so to get up there skillwise with people...

I use arrows! Den use 0 1 on numpad and crtl then rest is on mouse.

Creativity — try different strategies, develop your own ways. I always had bad sniping skills (and still do) and this is what helped me.

Different people work differently. I still think I suck and am bad at training myself. I do however, know some decent strategies that I had the pleasure of being taught by Hybrid in 2005. I got good at them too... in 2005. But I kinda stop playing after he left (and cos of dial-up lol).

I play with arrows to... gun switch by scroll etc.. and ive always played on 10 fps

Medbind is extremely important! Instant healing ftw

What areas of the game do you think you have trouble with? Movement, aiming, reactions or other things? I sharpened each thing individually when I trained.

And Zant was right about confidence; if I tell myself I'm shit, I play shit.

Close range I suck at, I am fine with sniper, its just in close range, I would get pwnted by DJ

Ok, well what's the problem with your close range fighting? Aiming, movement or whatever, just find a certain area to improve in.

I can't snipe for shit, it's all about assault rifle yeaaaaah.

I just use unscoped sniper.. Also, LOL at COD4 melee sniping XD I thought it only worked in DX.

Nobody else seems to get it though, but im not surprised.

You can get 10 000 training sessions and you will suck as long as you have that kind of fps. Just make the best out of it or get new puter.

^ This is true I'm afraid. Ever since I got a new PC I improved, quite a bit. I used to play at 20-30 FPS, now I have a steady 60 (Capped of course)

FPS can be a bitch, I used to get terrible FPS on my laptop, sorted that out though.

Glad that doesn't work anymore since I've got myself a new proper system which didnt run idle at 70 degrees Because it really messed my game up endlessly for an odd reason. :S
