Download the best free version of DXMP I think Slimeline is good?
(Will post link later someone can post it before me though. tongue.gif)

Then burn around 5-10 CDs with DXMP and a Link to the Z Site (And Other Clans of Course! ) in a Text File?!

I will just leave them in popular areas and it's free so it's legal! I encourage you all to do the same!

Illegal. It would be legal in my country since all we can find to buy is pirated games

Eidos still claims rights (AND) is STILL selling the game, both Regular DX and GOTY, online
So yeah. Since the Game still has claimed Rights, "Illegal".

DXMP only version is totally legal. I think SlimLine is, too, else Dae wouldn't distribute it.

Maybe create a website about FPS games in general, and big-up DX, with links to dxalpha etc.

Deus Ex 3 will not be having multiplayer, at least that's what people said from the engine it uses. We can't really confirm or deny this theory because it's pure speculation and for all we know they could be implementing a multiplayer feature in it. I highly doubt it myself, which sucks, but that's just the way it is.

To me, some of the most important "extra" features of a game next to singleplayer storyline/gameplay is some form of co-op mode and some form of multiplayer. One or the other, or both, doesn't matter. More and more people want co-op/multiplayer games but the developers aren't giving us anything.

I, for one, would love an RPG game where it's multiplayer wasn't just to run around with a bunch of randoms online playing the SINGLEPLAYER campaign. Honestly, it's hardly any different play Neverwinter Nights or Diablo II multiplayer. It's not any more fun, for me at least.

Though both those games (NWN at least, not sure about D2, I'm assuming it has it because WC3 does) have some sort of level editor which does add slight variety but the maps suck and while I'd create my own I don't bother because I don't play MP to worry about it (for that reason, it's like a never ending loop lol).

DeusEx does not have MP either. At least not initially.

I'd kill to play the Single Player game of DX with 2 or 3 players. And Diablo II is killerrr!

Also I don't mind just Single Player, as long as it's good. I'm not that social when it comes to gaming

I wouldn't mind playing singleplayer games with other peeps, it'd be co-op pretty much and I'm a fan of that. It's just that nobody does it. And with Action RPGs like Diablo everyone is varied levels so it makes it bloody hard.

What about that DX Co-op Mod: Rydberg Field, does it even work?

I had the orginal deus ex (NOT GOTY) it didnt have an MP option. i downloaded it.

Aye, DXMP was an afterthought. A good one, though!!

The co-op mod does have other maps, I forget what they're called and I forget where I got 'em (but it was probably in the depths of the alpha download archives somewhere) but there are more maps.
It's buggy as fuck and pretty darn useless (hosted it a few times).

Also, all the dx bots efforts suck, too. Tis a shame they were never finished as they had potential. So does DXSG, DXAG etc.. just... nobody bothers maintaining them.

Btw, did I mention that I may just be a little bit PISSED OFF if Deus Ex 3 has no multiplayer? Anyone fancy joining me in pre-emptively torching Eidos Montreal?? No?

I'm going to say it right now without any remorse, looking back DXMP sucked so much ass despite how fond and how much we've played it. 0-Augs was all our poor man's CS and Augs was our rich man's Quake.
I doubt multiplayer will be good either if its going to be on the Snowblind engine.

Not sure about Snowblind (what is snowblind?) but all I do know is DX3 will use the tomb raider:anniversary engine. officially called crystal dynamics
