On Team Fortress 2;
Well over 1k players
Several hundred servers.
On Deus Ex;
22 people
17 servers, 10 of which are empty 95% of the time.
Just because a game gets the odd player doesn't mean it's active, it just means people still insist on playing an outdated game when much more enjoyable games are around. I'm assuming it's because they have terrible computers and can't play anything else. The only people I could understand still playing would be the ones who've been playing for like 7+ years who visit every now and again, but they wouldn't be the active majority.
As said, compared to any popular FPS the multiplayer of DX is dead.

I agree with kaiden, As everyone can tell Deus Ex is on its last legs, maybe it'll be
activer when DeusEx III comes out. But for now, its a few people with a shitload of servers.
