Just advertising my newest and shiniest clan that is oh so pretty.

[BM] stands for Black Metal and the clans meant for black metal fans. If youre homeless in dxmp and like black metal then give us a shout on the forums. No skill trials or crap with your history: you just need to have the ability to appreciate one of the most prettiest and affectionate music genres that the black metal is.

Yes mainman, I spend hours in dxmp practicing headshots on bums until someone enters server. Get real, if nobody played, I wouldnt either.

In fact DXMP gives you more free time than any other game that would be considered "worth" the time by you two whiners. If I feel like playing but DXMP feels otherwise, then I cant play, can I? I can do something else instead.

On May 22, 2009 Vikernes confirmed that he has been released.

Anyway guess I got some reading to do. Anyone got slimline for him? :lol:

Personally I think hes a dick, but I like his music. So there.

I remember group on last.fm named Free Varg. Amusingly enough there was also a group called Keep Varg Locked Up. :lol:

6x was meant to be a 5 man clan for some wars, one of our key players disappeared before I could play B war which was extremely disappointing. Anyway BM I made just so I have a clan that Id like to be in even if there are no wars. It also works as a limitator to how many friends I can invite, which is a pleasant change given that I could make 10 clans with pretty much the same lineup as that of REN.

Derek you remember fake band called Bumzur on last.fm? They had some fake id3 uploads called like: "He fell on shards of glass" lol! They actually did some crazy speedup/messed up mixes of his songs too. 4chan used to raid the black metal bands there keeping retarded pictures bumped as artist image.

Well I know you like black metal as well, we wont be dicks about other genres that the members listen. I like certain industrial genres just as much as black metal, even though my preferences have changed somewhat during recent years.
Case in point: of course.

I think if some member starts to talk about metalcore or deathcore a bit TOO much then there might be some tension though, lol.

It's his (and mine as well) opinion and he's allowed it. No matter the shit I may disagree with him he's right. Sure, logically not "no one" plays, there are people who DO play, just not as much as there was 5 years ago.

You really are better off going off and doing something more productive with your spare time, maybe make a guild on a more popular game? But hey, it's your choice and they're just suggestions. Good luck either way.

I never get tired of repeating that 5 years ago there was EMPTY [3] server, EMPTY [GS] server, just about every server was empty except GODZ server with its armada of noobs that even I who had played 2 weeks in dxmp could own to the other side and back. I suppose the American side of the community did have more active players than today though, Rhino's was maybe up back then, maybe year later. There was probably empty [I]mmortal server and occasionally busy Void server as well.

Anyway with DCSB server stuff changed insanely with TT DCSB DXR Alpha playing with extremely skilled players (compared to the rest of us).

I dont think the number of players has changed as much rather than the fact that the new players prefer some boring shit to actual gametypes. Today there are more players online than during some summers few years back. Its just that they seem to prefer reloadcount0 gas nades and generally gay maps.

I started playing around 2005. Were the servers empty then? No, they weren't. I knew a lot of people who played then and could get into games fairly easy. I quit playing Deus Ex online years ago because:

1. I couldn't keep up to the status quo (in other words, I had no real motivation to play).
2. The number of players started decreasing.

The game was fine for me when I started playing, sure there wouldn't have been as many players as there was back in 2001 but there were more players then there were now. There were also still a lot of clans.

I wouldn't say Deus Ex was dead in 2004-2005. I would say it practically is now.

How about the time when Sunnyside was the only server in dxmp? That and later 2 messed up ATDM servers. Few years have been since then, yet the community has regained its numbers, moreso than anyone couldve imagined back then.
