Deus Ex Alpha

I just started playing Deus Ex online a few days ago and I've noticed that my serverlist in comparasion to my brothers is ratherly empty. When i get like 7 servers on the list he gets 16 for example...

I'm running on a Vista and he's on XP, i really don't know what to do, i also tried downloading your MMUserinterface thingy but nothing changed, I'd really appreciate some help

Use DXSL, I have the same problem.

Go download DXSL from there.


Although you won't be able to host servers too, some problem with Vista or something, say, what version do you have of Vista? Home? Business? etc etc


Oh, and if you portforward and then host a server, it won't list, only people can get into the server by IP.

Thanks for the quick reply I downloaded it, now what do i do to get all the servers to pop up? And btw, i have Vista home..

Well, you press the refresh button, and if you want to join the servers, goto Settings, and then set your DX location.

Also add something in masterserver:

master.gamespy.com:28900


Usually it would look like this:

master.dxmp.net:28900/master.gamespy.com:28900





I am not sure about the DXMP master server... so correct me if I am wrong.

Also also, shouldn't this be in teh technical issue?
