advanced multiplayer admininstration

the question is:
how can i refer to a particular player in a multiplayer game?
that is, if i want to change some property for a person (like name or health or energy or bcheatsenabled or anything else) how can i do it? i need a class name in order to refer to it, so i'd need either a class (like mpunatco and mpnsf but for every player) or an array which takes count of players (something like players(number) but it doesn't exist) or a way of using player id as a class name or anything else that works!

another thing:
it would be nice to have different passwords/admin accounts in order to give different levels of permissions to players (like: only cheats, console commands but kick, etc) preserving for myself only the highest rank (so it wouldn't happen any more that someone you gave the pass kicks you or similar facts)

i'm adding another example to the question:
another case in which you MUST have access to single objects instead of the whole class is when you want to change single properties, for example with an autoturret:
you can summon an autoturret, but then if you want to bind it to a control panel you need to have access to that single turret instead of the whole AutoTurret class... so if it is not possible, summoning an item like an autoturret won't never be useful, since you can't define its behaviour...
any help???

You mean, you want some skin of player in mp game? It's not easy work, first of all, it takes some knowledge and skills in DX-editing (codding).

Have you heard about Machina project? It will be modification for DXMP that will make it better. Ask this in the Machina forum. I think it's good idea, bit hard but reliable. And i also think that i'll include it in Machina.

I'm near this question too and i don't know exactly. Anyway, i want to test some things like my guesses: every thing has it's own TAG property (for example "Smuggler's Turret") and to URL to it, i guess, we can try this:
set MAP_NAME.Tag property
Anyway, i'll ask this question to Invisible Hand Coders.

1) i don't mean skins, but accessing properties of a player in multiplayer (that i, if i'm fighting against James with id 12, i want to change its health using something like set james health 0 or set players(12) health 0 or set 0 health 0 or anything else)
2) oh, yes, i think i'll post it in the machina forums (btw, can you tell me the link, i've forgotten it), but i thought there was a built-in method :( (sometimes i wonder if deusex programmers have done anything else than changing skins and adding ladders to unreal code... :wink: )
3) i'm going to try the tag property too, however let me know if you find out how to do it (for example, if you summon a turret, it just has predefined tag "Auto Turret", so the same for all new turrets, uh?)
