Deus Ex Alpha

Hey, im going to start playing dx again, are there any patches and stuff I have to download, and who still plays. Haven't played for over 2 years And were the hell did REN go?

I Play, and.. uh, not really, no patches released from ages, GOTY 112.fm or something da latest.. just need MTL and you're back on.

Alot of activity on FGS (DXMP-Wise), REN's mostly dead last I heard, I think it's now THC, but not all are RENers, Ken's in it though.

Oh, and a RPG clan called zXc. (DX-ST WAS DA BEST OKAY?)

that's.. pretty much it.

Aside that, on the modding side;

Cozmo is making an awesome RPG

and.. We (Deus Evil, lead by Allan) are making an awesome Multiplayer-zombie-apocalypse-co-op-mod TREM. (More like TREM's tech demo currently though; DXSM, check it out!)

Shadowrunner is making a DXMP mod which involves converting DX3 stuff into DXMP. Check it out here!

I'm gonna play today. Gonna host DXMP_RATESC 20 slot server, and maybe some dxms maps, and of course the originals, excl. cathedral.

Ever thought about hosting a DX map, you know, the ones with lighting, shadows, vents, repair bots, medbots, decoration, pick-ups. Ratesc is the only one there on your list that falls into the category of Deus Ex map. 0-aug is very boring these days, especially when servermasters are removing even cameras and emp grenades, it becomes intensely boring. Which is a shame because augs maplists bore me even more.

Just saying...

Atdm is healthy I would say, plenty of EL and THC every night. And plenty of cool mods about to come out this year, SP and MP.

I have never played augs online. I have always been 0-aug but I'm happy to host an augs server if someone else wants to be admin?? I have web admin on my server so send me a pm with maplist and server configs and I'll put it up straight away

I would get Freedom Editon of Deus ex if your are an editor/mapper.

Nah, not into that sort of stuff. I haven't even completed SP yet, I just play MP for the fun
