Do you think it would be possible to make a server in DXMP that's just a lobby for dudes that are trying to surf the list for players but all the servers are empty and instead of going into a server and hoping someone will join it with you just go into the lobby server which also has some kind of interactive screen that can let you see the serverlist while in the server.
That would be tight

Technically-wise the main issue here is forcing people to join the lobby server.
The rest seems possible but requires some effort.

I think a lobby chat system would be better. Not many FPS games have any chat interfaces though. @_@

It's not impossible, but as Dae stated, how do you draw people's attention and get them to join.

Password protect it then call the servername the password then make the map 99_Endgame4 but with Dubstep in the background. No time limit. Kill limit is 3 but therea no weapons. No augs either that will scare away most players.
