I use WASD because then I don't have to move my fingers as far to press my binds.

WASD for me, I struggle to see people use the arrows..They think its too hard to use WASD most of them. :?

Arrows for movement, everything has been moved within easy reach, plus a 5 button mouse helps, too...

Malachai, you seen the Logitech MX1000?
It uses laser tech instead of LEDs, and thus is quicker, more accurate and has the same feeling as a MX800.

Sounds cool, I'm tough on my mouse, though. I have found a Fellowes optical at K-mart for $18.00, they always have a good supply for when I get pissed off, plus the price is reasonable. :P

Along time ago my friend Jeramey(or I forget how he spelled his name) was an awsome sniper! He told me his left mouse button was take out scope and right mouse button was move forward I believe. But I have 5 keys on my mouse so I had to reach over on the other side of my keyboard and he did some fixing on my fire and the way I move and that helped alot!

WASD!
It's hard (to me) keep left hand so far from shoulder (on the arrow keys)... But I don't have wide shulders :D (I hope u understand what I mean).
... And I am too lazy to move keyboard at another place :)

And keys here enough for all stuff: q, e, z, x, c, r, f, v... as same as on arrows ;)

I remember when I used to play with arrow keys and I didn't have any aug binds so I used the F keys. Having to use both hands to switch off augs and move at the same time isn't a piece of cake, but it was a laugh and good practice!

Lol, i remember when i used to play Carmaggedon with the numpad, but i was too dumb to use one hand, so i used to press space (handbrake) with my elbow...

Anwho, DX:

WASD
Space = Jump
ctrl = crouch
Q,E,Tab,F = Different important augs
P,L,[ = Different Aliases
Shift = Scope + Shoot
Mouse Down = Scope
Mouse Up = Med
Mouse 3 = Bio
R = Quick Reload (never use though)
X = Message nice shot - fancy letters
C = Message good fight - fancy letters

do u play Half Life or one of the mods?

cos ctrl is the default for crouch in HL

i prefer X as crouch

and in melee combat i sometimes use Z and C to turn as it confuses players that my body moves right (pressing C key) yet i swing around to the left with my mouse

to experienced players, it just looks like him laggin :P
