Nah its not that, the price isnt a problem. But with the passworded server, you find that the skill level you play is normally higher. And atm it seems that you just need to idle in there for a while and it soon fills up with players.

Mole: a) i love (and you, im sure, do too) fragging newbies. b) And without password, server will be always nearly full, that could train newbies and this will be a help for DXMP.

personally

i use DXR for fun games, and newb bashing - easy stuff

i use Gamesmajor for 1337 and veteran fights. very challanging

Will just have to see how it all goes. I tend to prefer it passworded atm, as I know that when I go in I will know most of the people im playing and its not just fighting A) Aliases and B) I know the people im playing and can have a laugh with them rather than it being random noobs.

At this stage of DX its not about baby sitting the noobs, its just about jumping in server with a few guys ya chat to and having a laugh and a game, win lose or draw. Thats what I get with DCSB, and thats what I get with the passworded server.

all the maps are on the rotation, it is just that the Trial server's rotation is in a bit of a mess

I think posting the password to our server on your forums is very cheeky tbh.

we didnt forget about your forums, because we didnt post in on any forums but our own.

Secondly several A members are playing in it aliased, why alias in a private server :roll:

The entrance to the server is a privelage not a right, please dont abuse it.

If we're honest how many new players are comming into deus ex? 1/month if we're lucky? If the game was still even publically known of then i would see why having it as a public would be an advantage, but as there isnt really any newcommers comming in, i would rather make the most of what is left of deus ex, and not put up with the spam flaming and shit of regular publics in this small and quite frankly petty community.

and by the way thinks look like they are going (deciding as a group) the password will shortly be changed and then from then onwards on a regular basis. Naturally it will be given out to those who want it, providing we also would like them to have it.

Or at least select days being reserved for this. If ppl give out the pass to it then, i wouldnt expect them to recieve the next weeks pass...

Otherwise the bottom line is it will just get filled with shit like every other public, in addition i think it would benefit the very few newer players to not have access to it, because as the plan is to reserve it for good players, they will get truly raped repeatedly, and decide walking 2 steps out of the spawn room then dying isnt much fun.

As for people who enjoy raping people of lesser skill, i know several servers that would already be sufficent for that, GodZ is very new player friendly, and has a higher maximum ammount of players than ours does anyway.

Id love to have said im really sorry to bug you and its alright this time but in future please dont give out our passwords with a nice smiling smiley, but tbh i would have thought anyone would be able to guess the point of a password is that everyone doesnt know it.

As for you thinking it is cheaper to hire a private server, check the price lists http://www.gamesmajor.co.uk

yeah talking of that, Marjie from the clan DF came onto the server whilst Me, [TT]AlexDenton, DCSC BMW-M3, Kenny[!A!], [A]Leon and Etoil were on

she was very abuse to me. I was unhappy with it and she was acting like a right cock

check the logs or ask one of the aforementioned names on the post, Her name at the time was something like ][DF][ Blair Witch
