If you are behind a NAT firewall, you probably won't see your server in the main Server List, even though it's actually available. You will see it running in the LAN menu, but that's not a guarantee that it's available to everyone. You need to ask someone to test it for you, and give them your external IP address just to make sure. If you're behind NAT, you'll have your local IP (usually something like 192.168.1.1) and your external IP (varies, depending on your ISP) which you can check at http://www.whatismyip.com

whatismyip lies, you are probably behind a subnet mask, for me i hacked my friends bt 205 voyager :]
