Deus Ex Alpha

Hi All,

Just to let you know that we have formed a new clan/group (not really a clan as such, just DX lovin' cows past and present) to play DXMP. As you know DCSB have pulled out but a dozen or so of us still ove the game and now have a Gamesmjor server and a forum to go with it. Here is the URL:

Just a place for DX cows past and present to meet and chill and organise nostagic DX scrims for those who still like to play but not in newb filled servers. I intend to password the server at pre arranged times to allow for this. Cyas around.

Newbs form the future of the community. And not to mention that we all were newbies (not "n00bs" ) sometime ago.

OMFG! NoChanc has hacked Dae's account. Wait a minute has Dae been NoChanc all along?

Seriously though the server will only be passworded for organised scrims and will be password free 90% of the time. Some of our members just prefer to play on a quiet server from time to time and I wish to accomodate them

Nah Dae meant that he and NoChanc are the only ones who care about the future. If you check NoChanc's Danasoft sig on GODZ forum you will see this sentence.

"Be nice to the n00bs, they are the lifeblood of DX"

Therefore we should all bow down to Dae and the mighty NoChanc, the only people left who care about the future of DX

it doesnt work that way always. there are 2 different types of n00bs - n00bs that wont learn anything, and n00bs that will learn and become good players (eventually). there are more n00bs of second type. today, we have many n00bs of first type in dx, and thats why dx is dying. n00bs of second type come and check the game, prolly GODZ server (cos its always filled), but they see it sux so they leave.

lately german server was very busy with basic DM mode, and quite many players played. ive met many n00bs, saying they are new to the game and asking different stuff about augs, skills etc. many players do find DXMP intresting and funny, but not without augs and skills.

Actually its three types

Newbs
Nubs
Noobs

Newbs - People who have just started a game, and are eager and willing to become better, generally they do, no problems

Nubs - People who regardless of skill are complete gits, people who may be very good but everyone hates because of this that and the other

Noobs - People who generally because of attitude towards the game, will always be crap at it, its not a matter of if they are nice or not, its a matter of willpower and willingness to learn how to become better
