I have noticed less and less people on dxmp and the thing that scared me most was the fact that gamespy can close the masterserver whenever they want...
in the dx.ini i have seen the lines masterserver=gamespy.etc an i was goin to post about it but i found out nochanc had already thought of it...

but im still woried, WE NEED NEWBS TO DXMP! what if we copied dxgoty to a folder and change the location of were dx is strted to this folder so we wouldnt need a disk, lets face it dx isnt in many shops..
then maybye we could make dx downloadable from a site and add it to googlesearch and set custom deusex.ini so newbs dont have to edit it,
this is just an idea i had to preserve dxmp...

Deus Ex Multiplayer:

Already has MTL installed, the package is made by Daedalus, it only contains the basic Multiplayer maps (so NOT singleplayer)
And all textures/sounds/music files that are needed for those basic maps
(Basic maps is Smuggler, Silo etc.)

And I'm going to make SlimLine101 in 2 weeks which will have some bugs fixed, like, for example, improper writing in registry and theres gonna be a SlimLine patch that makes from SlimLine a normal Deus Ex.

you can easyly download DX for PC, MAC,even PS2, using an file sharing application like eMule, xMule, LimeWire ect.... or torrent.
But i think it is better to open an online shop witch could ship the Original version around the globe, but we need permission and of course copys of DX from Ion Storm :wink:

They have a net package or something if i remember, if you own the original game you can goto the website, give them some kind of number on the box and download it legally :] or download slimline.

Thanks! My pc cd is old old old i'll download legaly so That iwont be cought dling iligal stuff, man here in france they have some Ip police who chose randomly guys dling illigal torrent, i know a guy who was caught when he was dling MP3 files lol!

I Love Russia but there's two things I'me affraid of when i'm there:
1 the russian army yes i'm 20
2imposible to enter unuiversity, hard entry exams, lots of money, inFrance no entry exams and you don'thave to pay. but here in paris there is no GORBUSHKA, true moscowits will enderstand me

Download PeerGuardian.. That will stop RIAA or other bullshit companys looking down your ports, also it has a list of "bad" ips that will be blocked.
