and by the way, i didn't kick you from Alpha and more than, i made numerous attempts to find you because you vanished after our site had changed.

What do you mean I tried to find you? I didn't try to find you, lol. Me and my friend (who no longer plays because he's always on MSN talking with his "friends") just stumbled across your [3R] server one day, lol.

Well, it was the only one there (I used GameSpy and didn't realise I had it set to see servers from my country only, XD), joined got wasted and now I at least have a freaken mouse to play with instead of the Touchpad, lol.

I still suck like I did then, rofl.

I was refering to Daes post. Also, no you don't. You have vastly improved from a newb standing still with a gep to a newb that kills me quite a few times a map.

LOL I'll have to agree there... I only stood still with a GEP cause have YOU tried aiming/strafing with a Touchpad?

Yes, well does anyone have anything to add? I still think it'd be cool if all the people who've played for a bit should post their Deus Ex History, it makes for interesting reads in my opinion.

I remember the end of [AK] it ended the owning streak of everyone including myself, for about a few hours, you just came back and owned us anyway... I remember the TCN server... good times, shame i sucked back then...

I don't remember much from when I started either, I was also eleven just like you.

Anyway there are some funny moments which I remember is when I first met Payne2TheMax when I stole his lams in Area51 from the cabinet in the comm. After that I just joined [TSW] with Mahou as the leader, that became [DEM] shortly after and when that clan died some time later [DXIN] picked me up.

After a while or so [DXIN] was oficially announced dead and I was running around soloing around, until [3] was born in January, Messiah sent me a E-mail wanting me to join, and sometime in february I joined as the second member. Followed by Payne and Mahou which was IceCold back then.

I was in [3] for almost a year before one day I was so pissed off (about family problems) so I just went onto [3] boards and crashed the forums as an Admin. I really regret doing it now though, and after I did that I was forced to leave [3].

Then I just became very inactive and when I started playing again the real fuck-around started, I joined lots of 0 aug clans like [TT[ and just fucked around completely, until I found [A] and I just settled down.

There was a period when I joined [T] and [DES] aswell but that was fucked up because Tom[Conceited] told me that I could join and when I did he told me three days later that both clans were dead when they wasn't...

And now I'm here...

Somehow it appears the people who have screwed around in the past remain playing the game.

Somehow it appears the old long time 56ers on a new connection remain playing the game in hope to catch a train that has left them behind long ago.

Do add my msn as I would love to have a chat about the old clans as I would like to make my clan list a little more complete and accurate. Anybody here can add it as I now rarely use it and this msn account has always served the purpose of being my link with the community.

As a side note I am surprised you are saying you learned augs after being in so many clans. How can it be?

I learnt augs fairly early. I was an awful clan hopper, but, I saw the [DEA]s and the [DMI]s and thought they were crazy and was determined to reach that. I never gave up like most do today, I also never bitched. Old times were great.

Yeah, there was alot more. Just so hard to remember. The order of things is also very hard to rememeber...

The order of events is where I really had a hard time. Ugh, anybody remember the bad times when that damned CTF mod came out and all the servers were running it? I thought dx was done for sure when that happened.

Or when the times of DXM were up?

There's been many scares. We've all amnaged to get thru them, saw another few oldies today. Augs are coming back for sure. You still play a bit mono?

But people like that are the people that ruin it, DerianX, he tried to fix it. Ultimatly, he failed. But he did create a group in the community that knew about respect and fairness. He stood for all that was correct, but like many others, he is now gone. He does leave behind some of that group that still uphold the beliefs 'Honour over Glory'.

if only the DX website hadnt said the patch was US only, i'd have been playing DXMP for 4 ish years :S
