Deus Ex Alpha

First: hello to all of you, while we hardly agree on much, admittedly the dxmp experience has bound us together, for better or worse.
Personally, I absolutely loved this game, I am not much of a gamer anymore(just fodder for my son who convinces me to play against him in many games, my record is whatever and 0)but for me this game was the pinnacle.

I am grateful for all of the players who contributed to the community and made my experience better, especially my clannies. As much as I tried to be fairminded and gentlemanly, I am sure I failed miserably. My personal low point was accusing Riddler of cheating, wtf was I thinking, off my meds for too long there.

There are many opinions about the best players, best clans, best anything. Here are my picks for best players
1. Locke
2. Andrew
3. Apoc
4. - 100 everybody else

But really who cares what I think, that was my experience, the game changed so much that comparisons lose much of their meaning.

I laughed harder, played harder, and enjoyed myself more playing this game than I would admit to anyone outside of the experience.

Funniest moment in DXMP
Two players
GoJuice and HAHA
Created sculptures using lockpicks biocells multitools by squatting and spinning with little jumps, It actually looked like they were sh i tting them out, they would slowly rise on top as the sculpture got higher. For some reason watching them do this was hysterical, maybe a medication issue, but funny nonetheless.

Best times was definitely in private servers with select players, mostly DEA's, especially when Locke was building skyline...we palyed for hours in there, Slicer, Apoc, Locke, Beast, Drama, and others I can't remember. And in Cocaine empire with the younger set of DEA's while TM was building it. Spawning cats in the pool, cmon, how sick was that. watching Mono kill hundreds of hookers with the sword, after some slight from his girlfriend. These are the memory types that remain with me.

Clan matches, who cares.

to bad no one kept screenshots of the greatest clanwars that dx had , for example [dea] vs [3] , but its only interresting to see the scores and not to use as an argument for saying that one of the clans is better than the other

i remember the hours of playing this game online all the time, good times never got to play once in a clan war though LOL at my peak i had to give other clan members a chance lol

the dx community is much smaller then it was when i augged alot..
and im thinking of quitting after 3 whole years of dx
ive played this game longer then any game i know

Hi BC. Not sure if this is meant to be a hello or goodbye post or what. Either way, I was never really a member of the community you would have noticed or knew of, but it certainly wasnt the same the other way around I dont think anyone can take away all the things you did for this community, with supplying quality servers and keeping DEA together amongst all the shit that you were on the receiving end while bearly dealing out anything big in comparison I would say you did more than your fair share. I know your still in contact with TM and a few of the old DEA's.

Deus Ex will eventually die out when the masterserver goes. The newbs won't know their is a replacement and think its busted

Locke: The "didnt even use augs because it was too easy" guy.. He was concidered "good" because people at the time when he played didnt know what augmentations was, or even that they existed. I for one did however, and no.. he was not "1337".

First of all, thats just a way of playing a game.

Second of all, maybe he meant them as personalities and the best to play with in entertainment value, if you know what I mean?

His post is more of a atmospheric memory of DX, rather than the usual war thing here.
