Deus Ex Alpha

I have been hosting a new type of server for IO. Since there are enough aug and non-aug servers out there, I thought I'd do something new. I created a new type of server for a new type of dx player. This server isn't just for auggers nor non-auggers, it's for a new breed that combines them both into one. This new server only allows you to start off with 1 aug, and you only get 1 aug through out the game. This might sound old, but there's a couple of other things. I took out gepguns and the hm shells because with only 1 aug around, anyone could just take the game away. This leaves you with the normal non-aug weps with a few weps for the auggers. This server has the flamethrower and plasma rifle for the auggers, along with all the grenades and turrets, to add to the challenge but is still avoidable. Now, here's the main point of this game, it's now been turnd into more of a strategy fight, rather than a run-around-kill-everyone fight. You're oly given one aug that you have to choose wisely, but they're aren't any cheap weapons so you have to use your weapon skills to get a kill. It might sound easier than it is, but there's a whole different feel to this type of game. Once you try it out, you'll know what I mean. You wont see any other servers ot there like mine so when you see that there's only 1 aug, don't be fooled into thinking it's just a lame aug server, you'll be surprised once you play. I'm hoping that more people will come to my server and enjoy this new type of game. As of right now,not a whole lot of people have played but most have liked it, while others like the GODZ style of server. Everyone here should try it out before they doubt it. Who knows, you might have fun!

This has been tried out before. And anyone can create a mix-breed of both of those.

anyone can but no one does, it's either augs or 0augs

why do u think gep and 20mm is lame? like there is no ADS? well, if you learned about ADS, then this wouldnt be lame for you.

yes i know aout ads and i know how to use them but why use my only aug on ads? that would be pointless and boring, that's why i took it out, to do something new

i dont know what you're talking about, i never use hm or geps when they're in a server. and i've only ran into clix once lately

That's the beauty of streaks =) You shoulda killed some other peeps before coming after me. Then maybe you would've had ADS.

I just took ADS as one of the first two augs after you began whoring with it at least i managed to snipe you before you could get to medbot once xD (which was the only kill i got as far as i know, but lets not mention that.)

i left the server up for this weekend and it seems to be getting more people. the only times it was really lagging was when i joined the server. however, since im at home, i can play on it without there being lag this time

ok forget what i said, my server is laggy as fuck. the ping is great but everything is so shifty for some reason. that sucks, i had a good idea but i cant host now, unless i get my router configured, then i can host a 24/7 server on a better computer
