He used netspeak. You are using a netspeak enable english variant.

Real men use proper english while standing in the rain, listening to KDust.

The reason for using correct enlish is that it requires a set of skills everyone got taught at school. It also means that if you use correct english, people with english as their secondary language have a better chance at translating it. When you start chopping of letters in the name of "faster' or 'easier' typing[which is utter bullshit], you only deface the language even more.

I use slang because it get's the point across, everything else not in-game I expect to be in full, readable, english.

English is very hard to learn, because people who use it correctly are regarded as foreigners

What the hell are you on about? People who speak English arent regarded as foreigners, not in England. Its right that English is a hard language to
learn, but that shows how lazy English people are that they dont learn other languages.
