I have a request to ask of you guys. I would like to ask anyone who can host a server to do so, but make sure it appears before the GODZ server in the server list. Right now, there are only three of us who are doing this, but we are hoping that if more of us do this NoChnace will realize that he doesn't have a monopoly on the game and will finally listen to the community. I must warn you, everyone who has done this has been banned from the GODZ server and the GODZ MSL, so if you don't want to be banned from either of these things you don't need to host a server. It doesn't matter if your server will have good ping or not, just as long as it comes before the GODZ Server.

Yeah, mine is up, I got banned and Nochanc refuses to admit he did it.

ÿÿ ys are reall annoying. There is a whole bunch of ys in it, with no name.
I for one, do not like this. There are already, three servers, or four, that have it like this, and now, you are proposing to add more?
Basically, you are goign to have 10 servers with jsut ys, while the server list gets longer and longer, and other servers are going down the lsit, as it gets bigger. People will still go to godz, not straight away, but they will eventually. I for one, don't support this.

The best solution to this whole name problem is this

Make a patch for DX (like MTL) which sorts the list originally by Player Count, secondary as name

So

If GODZ has 3 players and Gamesmajor has 5, it goes

Gamesmajor
GODZ

If Godz 2 and GM 2

GODZ
GM

In theory, by doing that, we make the more well known servers to have players and GODZ have less

The question is persuading people to get the patch, and making it

Ah, but what about the servers that have 0? There must be some way to roganise them then. E.g- Godz server-10 players,
Gamesmajor-7
Servername-0
servername-0

How will they be sotred. Lets pretend there is only two servers with people in them, then the 15 other servers, or whatever it is, need another way of being sorted.

One of way of getting rid of this problem, is for the masterserver, not to recognise these ÿÿÿÿs, but then other letters like zs will be used.

By adding y servers, that are full of ys, is stupid. It makes the masterserver look bad. I will admit, I use these ys, but not to an etent that it gets ridicoulous. I was suprised to see how much Nochanc is determined to stay t the top, but adding loads of y servers, I think is pointless.

What I said is that for secondary (after its done player count) it goes back to name sorting

So, if you go onto DXMP and no servers have any players, then it will look like normal because it then sorts by name

Ah, I see, sounds good. But, wouldnt it be more of an issue to actually contact the people who run the masterserver instead, as dont they control this function?

I can't play there now, I've been banned. The thing is though he doesn't even admit he banned me, Cereal, or Daemon. Daemon asked him why he couldn't see the GODZ Server, and NC replied that Daemon must be having internet problems. While this may seem plausible it's interesting that the only people who are having "internet problems" are the same people who are trying to stand up to NC. Also, just thought I would let you guys know, Whiplash has created a server with the same player settings as GODZ except that it has the normal rifle.

Though I won't do it myself, name your server GODZ server (with one extra y) Then make all the details the same, and the maps, unless thats what cereal already did...

This is getting funny now. The top server above GODZ only allows 2 players in it.

That's Cereal's. Mine should be right below that which allows 8 players and right now I think it is a standard Team Deathmatch with Augs. NC really hasent really been doing anything to have a serious impact on the game in my opinion, all he's been doing is making nub maps, with nub weapons, attracting nubs and banning people for stupid shit.How are yall comparing him to Hitler? he's to much of a dumbass to be a tryant in my opinion.

I do think it is a bit fucking mental to be really adamant over who is top of the list though

May I pont out though, this would be a download, and so, you wouldn't have to have it this way. Look at how many people that don't have mtl.

Maybe if someone intentionally spreads bugs around the DX community, which cacks up your version of DX, and the only way to repair it is to use our patch
