Deus Ex Alpha

I'm sure this topic already exists, but I'll make a new one anyway.

Here goes:

Stargate CMD: Holding off the armoury, alone, with a red chest, no meds and a machine gun against 4 NSFs, only to be typekilled after the 3rd kill while saying "say hello to my little friend." (Happened a couple of minutes ago.)

CMD again: Being constantly killed as I teleported to the Secret Base by about 6 NSFs, so I switched teams, placed CSLAMs by where they were standing and blasted a LAW into the middle of them, then switching back. (Happened a couple of minutes ago)

Crossfiring with Spidey and Daz' was great fun too.

As was BFP2ing with Jay and Spidey. Also, me and Tharatic used to play [ALPHA]Party, where we'd both summon killswitches in the spawn room and try to be the one to kill everyone on the server. I think I've only ever laughed as much in Deus Ex once since that time.

Probably alot more, but these are the only ones I can remember at the moment.

Oh yeah, and pistol fighting with Marco at DXMP_Forgotten.

And using the speed bug with the jumpsuit on FLUP-3 to have megafights with Ace.

And when me and Choco' used to play on Jim's.

Getting a score of 16 1 with a streak of 12 at SG using only the TAR21, then shooting the 20 odd LAMs Richie had placed while he was standing by them.

I've seen you play a few times, I haven't been playing that much until recently, and the times I have played (until recently) I've used aliases.

My best experiences:

Getting people pwn3d by my DeathBomb mod, destroying half the level in the process =D

Err... going on DXSG_CMD_V1, and Neutron Bombing the place to hell. So when the first enemy showed up... KABOOM!!! Neutrons going off everywhere!!!

Getting my first map (DXMP_RedFogRoom) to work, and having 8 people in it, blasting the crap out of each other =D

My best DX experice... when Anna Navarre went down on me. Oh yea!

We had a team war recently

Probably the A - DCSB clanwar.

That was pretty awesome. Me and Laura tried to devise a strategy before the game, it didn't really work out.

The only other time that sticks out was a 1 on 1 with Laura on DXMP_Arena. We we to the highest level, summoned large-unbreakable crate walls on our side, and law'd the hell out of one another.

Oh, or the time Bobo tried to teach me how to aug, and I was using behindview 1 and kicking his ass.

Playing SG mod with me and nobody in the server, he was telling me all the code to all the door and what not. Only Problem was i lost the paper i wrote all the nubers on. Man i wish i could blow those gates up again....

Other good times include the many many games against Alan just capturing the turrets on CMD.

Private parties with a few peeps including Jim, Stevie, Roo.

Scaring noobs with female skins "OMG R U A BOT!?"

Basically playing with the regular lot! And learning to master the art of lag. And then getting broadband and having to learn to play with a faster speed which was really wierd.

Ohh and playing hide and seek and getting stuck in cupboards and the lift on CMD. Aaahhh good times I miss the funny moments.

Some of the games we had pwned, 007 and Klop, thanks for actually playing it constantly and not doing that bad!

Alot of fun matches with [EIS]Melkor and illuminati-IIS in Merlin's server.

Those were good times.

I had a lot of fun in my exp.
i think my best was when a mate sended me his engine.dll that allowed me to join DXMTL servers (like all the dx servers) couze my italian version was old and kinda gay lol.. i was so happy.. the first server i joined i think was rhino's or something usa one.. and for the first time i meet the lag and got owned by some DWK players that were camping on the hangar roof of area51.. i was like "how can you jump on there? cheater!" lol

My best 1 probably was chasing marco for like 2 games with a dts.

When DCSB was formed 4 years ago, we used to have weekly clan games with TCN (and then TCNdk). We were all complete noobs on 56k then and knew we were gonna get pasted every time so just went out for fun and to have a laugh. That was always good.

The clan game with TT was great too. I hadnt played DX in like, almost a year and our team hadnt played the game together in about 6 months, then we came back briefly (when I first got GM to start hosting DXMP) and beat TT who were the strongest 0 aug clan at the time. It was a really gg.

Clan games are always fun, and I still find them most enjoyable which is why I play 3 or 4 + a week in other games. We had loads of them in DXMP, I dare say more than any other clan in DXMP so sorry if I missed any, I could be here hours writing about them! We played Triad once as well but I didnt play, I cant find the shots anywhere

Other things I guess would be the stuff I did that wasnt directly in game. All the projects and idea's I worked on with Da_Terminator, and the time I spent in the DXMP lobby of GameSpy Arcade. Running DX-Online, etc etc.

Well, both of you, did play DXAG ALOT when it first came out

And you picked up strategy for it faster than alot of others

And I find that surprising
