Only 8 servers up, 4 of them with no players in!

Someone has played with bot. All these servers are augged, besides one which probably has just appeared and since its the only 0aug server, it has 18/20 players.

Yours is under Linux, and running "Anti-DejaVu" protection with IPTables...

Redgreasel has been crashing servers. Whether or not it's the same way Deja is doing it I don't know. Either way MiB is now in my black books as dogboys condones entirely what he did. I ask anyone in charge of servers for a all round band for MiB :]

I got a bit of that in the demorec of Deja, but apparently there is crashes.

Also, ask ChaosBaby about it. She was really pissed off with dogboy.

so wa is the story? is MiB nd deja teaming up 2 take down all 0 agu servers? 1 of u smart ppl should invent a virus 4 ppl that try nd take down the 0 agu servers, im looking at dae or alex of 1 of dem ppl that know how to use a pc

Commiting illegal acts(If rather fun ) isn't the best way to go about a problem like this...

he is doing this cause he is on a mission to get rid of 0 augs, which is completly mad.

I reckon Deus Ex has seen its day. 8 Servers up, with only about two heavily populated. There's a chance that it could be just a phase and it will go back to how it was around christmas, but, can't see it happening.
Some people who want to start playing deus ex, i.e new to the game, will give up when this kind fo thing is going on. They will think its always like this

I host my server when I can. Tried tonight, but my internet conenction is dodgy, so it went down.

DX has survived many, many, many people saying that DX's time has come, the end is nigh, the 4 horsemen ride, etc.

Dae has already said there is someone working on the problem... untill then there -is- a work around.

If it's any help, the specs don't need to be huge. My server is running off a celeron (Yes, celeron) 2GHz, and 512MB DDR266. (Although the ram is clock a wincy higher, hehe.)

I'm yet to get a full full server, but I haven't seen any yells of lag, or peak load times.
(Well, any yells of 'lag' that didn't come after being killed...)
