thing is, not long ago this same roach idolized triads and especially messiah on his forums saying how he is going to play augs or what ever. but.. it no longer surprises anyone.

If you search the forums youd find out that he has been called schitzo several times in the past, perhaps even as long as 2 years ago. Many that realized this no longer play dx and new players have to find it out the hard way, lol.

Monkee was an amazing sniper in non aug. Fearsome!! But in a challenge in 0 aug, doubt it will ever take place. Not because of fear of ownage from Pappa and Controlled quite the opposite, non aug is slow, boring, no skill involved at all. Who ever can aim and have a fast connection and good FPS "should" be able to own up.

DX Augs however is much different, Most skilled game online by far. That ladies and gents is the reason it wont happen. No skill on 1 side in a game which req's skill.

All Deus Ex, non-augs or not, requires skill. Augs may require more thinking & strategy, but it lacks in fun, where as 0 augs does not.

If you don't believe me, look at your precious aug servers and you'll find them to be quite empty comparing that to 0 aug servers.

Most newbs that enter those servers leave within a map or two because they think the better players cheat. Today, for instance, some guy named Magus was in there with a score of 3-27 or something, he kept dieing to Monkee thinking he did some kind of assault rifle hack were he could shoot faster than normal, which of course, was wrong.

Most of the "0aug elite" simply don't go into augged games because they don't want to take the time to learn it or if they do try to play they'll quickly leave when they find out they can't win as easily as they would in a 0aug match. Where as any top augger could go into a 0aug server and do 30-5 easily within map or two.

derek, id disagree, i think augs are much more fun, but the extremely shit attitude of present augers makes the game so repulsive. Also, believe it or not people, there are different aug games out there besides ATDM.=/

Sardin, your wrong, it all depends on the state of the mind and that persons attitude. Although generally most 0 augers do not want to learn augs because of their state of mind and atittude + it is an easy option

what he says seems rather ignorant. As I pointed out to a mate I would really like to see dxmp idol Hitokiri own 0augs. I doubt he will score at all against actual 0augers. Same goes to hybrid who only knows how to shell and knife, and anyone alike. 0augs is a very limited game of dxmp and you must be born stupid to say that any auger could go into 0aug server and "own". There are more than one way to aug and rifles are not the A and O of auging.

Also, against experienced 0auger an auger wont really do much good against. You understand it if you thinka bout it a bit. Augers see a map in a completely different point of view and that is solely because of speed aug. Also the use of cloak provides also different tactics.
In 0augs you have no place to hide no place to run, but you will get jumped from corners, you will get camped at spawn, and if the shooter is accurate enough and has a good spot your little cute blue shield wont help much if you go right in.

Monkee rifles, as do most triads, so they have the weaponskill for the ripped game, this will not however take away the uncomfort of not having the aug buttons to press, speed aug to move fast, and regen/bally when youre jumped by a tactical player. ANd yes, 0augs does have tactics.

Id also add someone else's example: dejavu, quite good auger, comes to 0augs, gets owned pretty bad and leaves. And he rifles. I remember monkee play 0augs and I know hes pretty good, but that does in no way make the all augers, top or not, statement correct.

Erm.. yes, but you fail to recognize the fact that most auggers have actually played noaugs before. Basically all it comes down to is aim. I would put my money on the good augger in a noaug 1v1 with a good noaugger.

Also; no. Hitokiri would not own up any noaug game right now, he hasnt played for years and furthermore would get 300+ ping in any noaug server unless it was american.

By hitokiri example I didnt even intend to bring him to todays 0aug server, of course hes retired of course he is rusty or worse, that is not the point. He is/was considered one of the best or the best knifer and to knife in 0augs you must be really really bored. Im not saying you cant do well with them, im saying a rifler will take you down before you have much success with the knives.

6 vs 6, [3] beat DCSB in a 0 aug scrim. Fact, from what I got told (I didnt play, I was in a pub on the lash! ) they raped us on 2 of the 3 maps.
