Ten tips for DXAG

Please add to this list or question tips

1 - Use ballistic protection as Medic

2 - Use run silent when you are cloaked

3 - Pretty much always have Energy Shield on as Engineer

4 - Same with targetting and sniper

5 - Look more than just in front of you when you are using vision

6 - Medics may seem impossibly nuts, but any good player would exploit their weaknesses (EMP, Explosions, Flamethrowers)

7 - Always spray your allies when you have a free second.

8 - Stealth may seem a hard class to work with, but you need to use Cloak, Radar Trans and Lockpicks to their advantage, enemies DONT have eyes in the back of their heads, so go around the back

9 - Engineers should always check up on turrets they have captured as protocol, the more turrets you own, the more control you have, and the more kills you will get

10 - Pick your class by your strengths, if you like the Sniper rifle, pick the sniper, if you want to heal and make enemies call you a noob and get angry, go Medic - BUT on the flip side of that coin, if you play with more than one class, you can be flexible, making you a much more valuable team member

My tip isn't for DXAG in general, just landerneu. And not even a tip, just what I do. A lot of people think that the speed aug is crap,, because you can only jump, but, in Landerneu(or whatever :P) you can jump onto walls, wires, and buildings, and get straight inot their base.

Yeah or you could just run in front of their gun fire and get yourself killed then get someone to ban them lol. Thats what a lot of people used to do. But now ff is off so thats not an option.

Or if you want to be a jerk blow up their lams when the place em on the wall. Not reccomended as some people dont like it when you do that. I wonder why though.

Also some admins could ban you for that also.

I don't know why you guys are talking about medic guys being hard - I could easily take one guy out with Engineer or Stealth, they're not that hard as long as you have energy or melee weapons.

While you's are worrying about the medics the stealth has something going on. Bear that in mind and
Look out!

Main thing that annoys me is you finally kill them after they run out of energy or whatever but youv'e been poisened by a dart so you die 10 seconds later anyway.. And the medics on your team are to busy spawn-gassing :/

Tip: With the fighter, use the pistol rather than assaultgun, kills alot faster :) And often medics/snipers linger out of the assaultguns range rendering it useless..

Tip: On Smuggler_V2, if they are camping on the stairs, go all the way round and knife them in the back of the head (So Funny :) ) Also use the Strengh aug to create blockades, great cover :).

Tip: If you have a useful teammate, make sure one of you is a engineer and the other is a stealth. On almost every DXAG map you can create shortcuts, get turrets, ammo and HeAmmo in certain areas.

Tip: Always try to stay with a medic, ( Unless your a medic, then you can heal yourself  ) survival is that much longer when theres a teammate spraying you with a pepper-spray :)

Tip: Cycle through the classes, as a sniper on Area51 you will always spawn in the Tower ( I think ) And the enemy will start to suspect your spawn..Leading to spawn-killing.

Will add more eventually.

lmao, gas in spawnrooms pisses me off too, especially when your guy spawns, a gas goes off, then you constantly go *aggh* *bahhgg* *arhgg* while your vision is fucked, you have to use a med that you could use in battle. Not to mention it laggs you up too :(

A little known tip is that an engineer can smoke out a cloaker with their flamethrower if they suspect there's one in the immediate area. For example even a totally concealed player will make augmentation drone noise.

my view of DXAG is that it's a game of rock, paper, scissors. I.E, each skill has its strenghts and weaknesses compared to others.

So if you are medic, you can dart all your enemies to death and heal your friends, but an engineer can kill you with a flamethrower. Or a stealth can creep up on you.

Or if you are a soldier, while you may not have many of the special abilities of stealth, engineer or med, you can do well in a straight fight and use vision to take care of stealths who rely excessively on their cloak.

My style is to choose my skill dynamically, based on prevailling conditions. At the start of the match I always come as engineer to take turrets initially. then when I die I base my new skill choices based on what the team needs and what the other team has, for example if the enemy has no soldiers, choose stealth. Also choose stealth if there are a lot of mines on the field. Or if the enemy team is full of stealths, choose soldier. If my team understands the role of a medic and seeks med when they need it, then I come as med to help the team. But if they don't and just go get themselves killed all the time while ignoring their medic, then I'd only come back as a medic again if it makes sense to do so from an offensive standpoint.
