Heh, Looks nice, but where it says:

Join server directly! Even with password!

Does that mean you can enter any password'd server? Without knowing the password? Or is it in the PlayerSetup, and you enter the password in their then enter the server? Downloading now.

Isn't this just complicating things and making it impossible for anyone new to take-up DX as a hobby?

Cos I came to DX in it's 6th year, and I'm sure if people stop farting about then there is no reason why people won't come to DX in it's 7th year...

but if it means you can't just buy the game and start playing without having to download shit and fiddle with ini's and grovel to Deja a bit too, then we are fucked beyond belief, no new players and only people leaving?

Deja said he would talk to me, if I unblock him too, but I don't remember blocking him or what his msn is. Do I have to unblock the entire asshole population of MSN, or can someone tell me roughly what his msn is?

Unlike you stubborn gits, I downloaded it. Its well laid out ,and it does the job brilliantly.

I don't like it not because Deja made it but because I find no use for it. You might as well just make a program that takes you to the main menu of DX.

Yeah I downloaded this version a few days ago on the [3] forums, it's pretty usefull if your on msn and just wanna see if there's anyone on.

Might use it, first I have to run a series of tests on how fast it is and then I have to scan it... Deja could be spying on people.

I'm using Xfire, making this useless.

Yeah, but this is alot smaller and if anyone here is using gamespy just for DX, it's a much less system hogg.

I like it but imo Dx loads much faster when you open it up and simply join a server the original way rather than clicking join server in the thing Deja made.That's just my opinion though.

I like it but then people usually wont even bother with servers with no players. Usually once dx is loaded you think "Someone will join....".

I don't know anything about computers, but I do know that Deja needs PC's to run a botnet...

Even if this is the best invention since the wheel, it is a matter of principle that I am not going to download something he wants me to, it's just another case of Deja pushing people around...

IF he can negotiate, then I would consider it... but he is SO misguided, he says he is doing all this to stop new players from playing only 0-aug...

IMO the responsibility for that is not with 0-aug servers. I find there is a code of honour on 0-aug servers that doesn't exist in Aug games...

e.g. spwnkilling etc...

It is RIDICULOUS to say you are trying to attract new players to play augs, if all you are gonna do is spwnkill them and kill them with LAWS, 20mm etc... call them noob etc... they will just leave DX altogether, let alone play augs...

Er, Is it just me or does this thing only ever seem to show Aug servers? Iv'e been using it alot since it was released, and unless I hit refresh about 20-30 times no 0-aug servers appear. Anyone else got this?

After hitting refresh loads I finally see a non-aug server:



When all the other ones will just appear instantly??

Mine shows all servers.

Guess its just me then
