Deus Ex Alpha

It's official, Deus Ex is dead. Every time I go on, I only see about 5 servers total, all of them augs.

I don't like to admit defeat, but DejaNoob has managed to totally destroy the DeusEx we've all grown to love. That means we're out of business.

I hope the fucking bastard is happy. I for one will be praying for him to die, I hope his house goes on fire while he's asleep. Bastards like DejaVu only exist to terrorise and control others, someone would be doing the world a huge favour by blowing his fucking brains out. Though either way I'm hoping that Karma, God or whatever will take care of him in the end.

I'm putting MADZ into cold storage until I get into another game - which may not happen for a while because I have a faulty RAM problem. But Elemental who has co-leadership might decide to start a branch in another game himself, that will be his decision.

To all those we've shared this delightful game with over the years, it has been fun and I will miss you all. The best of luck and Merry Christmas wishes to all here.

Whiplash, there is no doubt of the damage he has caused to the dxmp community, modded or not, but what puzzles me here is that you were among those scarce clans that in totally 0auged dxmp played in a very auged clan. I can count such beginner clans that have played augs and properly played it since 2004 probably on one hand. Where did those times go?

if ste and his server is only server i have to cope with then its fucking dead alright. i dont recall any server adminned as badly as that one from my gaming career and i would even go as far as saying its THE worst server in dxmp history... so im stuck with 600 ping noob non dedicated servers... yeah there are also laggy ass usa servers like T and EL..

If you even knew why Ste's adminning wasn't great, you'd excuse him. It's nowhere near the worst. It's pretty much the best euro augged server, and no, you may think you count for shit, but you do not my friend.

It's dead when no one is playing it anymore, and no more zero augs? It's fucking great. Let's have a big party, a celebration. I get 300-400 ping everyday, yet I still play and score well in those 'laggy ass usa servers' and 'the worst server in dxmp history'.

Tell us, what is the reason that Ste's adminning isn't great? And it IS not great, and stays the worst, with all excuses you can think of. Spydrones disallowed? Go fuck yourself then.

Ste was being emo at [3] forums. His excuse didn't really blow me away.

Even though this is my personal and private life i feel i owe you minions a explanation of why ive been a little highly strung in the server recently.

I will be honest and say having this server has effected me and has made me a mess. Im not a good admin. The past weeks ive really tried to pull it togther and i was trying to damn hard. My Girlfriend split up with me, only for a day or so but were still not in a good place. That hurt me and its Xmas time and im not looking forward to her opening £500 worth of gifts if were not very strong right now.

That coupled with i was once respected and now most of the player dislike me. That doesnt have a positive feel for me. Ive been waitinf for aaaaages for something in my life which ive been looking forward to and lol thats not happened niether.

I make plans to see grim and spaz and kev in ireland as well as do some Xmas shopping but my passport didnt come back in time as it needed re-newing so that pissed me off.

Everything in my life is just negative right now.

The final straw is the 3 sets of mouse settings got wiped and now i cant play fuck all properly.

you DO fucking realize he bans everybody who beat him? Oh, of course you dont.
Unfair teams for _him_ = server is taken down or people are banned/forced to switch. If its 2-6 teams and hes in bigger one its ok.
People who outrifle him are aimbots.
People who kill him in the vicinity of 100 meters from Spawn point are spawncamping and will be banned without warning. That only goes for cloaked players however, if you dont cloak you only get banned for aimbotting.
As alex said, no drones. If you die when shooting LAW you are banned.

He WILL find an excuse to BAN you if he wants to. So only way you can survive in his server is by playing worse than he is or avoiding him completely, not cloaking, and not getting a single teamkill.

Yes this IS slightly exaggerated but the fact remains the guy is fucked up in the head!!

yes i realize i made an emo post myself with this, and might get a warning, but it sure was fucking worth it.

It doesn't matter if it sounds 'emo' or not. Shit happens in peoples lives sometimes all at once and it adds up. It's called stress dude. It's not uncommon for people to take it out on others.

I don't blame him. His admining wasn't great, but hey, that's the way it is.

Dcsb Games Major ... damn , a hell of a good server and great adminning.They had like 20 clan members who were adminning but I never saw so many complaints about people getting banned for a shit reason or what ever.The only time someone was banned was because he teamkilled or was suiciding.The whole clan did a great job in adminning and hell , the one who hosted the server actually never went on it.Perhaps ste should join a clan and let the clan take the heavy burden on their shoulders so ste can relax a bit more and thus making his adminning a bit more relaxing.

The majority doesn't want to play augs. I don't think dejavus actions will do a serious breakthrough in the situation, just 2/3 of these 24 players will leave the game and newcomers will not be arsed to play against elites of 5 year experience. Long life respected auggers, rofl

DCSB and their server was an example of how game should be played and how server should be adminned. They are also an example how eveybody with sane mind has left dxmp behind, except those fools who are too stubborn for that and keep complaining, like me.

I don't get you guys. Why are you hating augs? I've played augs and 0 augs on and off the field, and I'm not complaining. I can't believe you guys go as so far as saying "you support augs, you support DejaVu". Did we even ask for Deja's assistance? Did the aug community get involved with Deja's actions? No, not at all. This is a decision Deja made all by himself. Yeah I admit, there are some bad auggers nowadays that DO support Deja. But not all of us do. There's a slim minority that do, and a majority that doesn't.

You can't discriminate someone for augging. That's their favorite gametype, whether you like it or not. And if you do discriminate them, that's just the same as what Deja's doing. And Alex, taking down augged servers means taking down the rest of the game. People pay good money for that, don't fuck it up for them.
