I know I made a post about this but, I think we all owe thanks to Zora and Gamespy, who have managed to disarm the delist bug

Zora for contacting the guy, not through the customer care proceddure and to our helpful friend at Gamespy, who, pulled through in the end.

Effectively, you've just shown us a larger server list, and told us that the attacks have stopped. This could be due to anything, (I am 99% sure that it is due to DejaVu developing a new exploit), and you have yet to show to us how Gamespy have anything to do with this at all, let alone, how they have fixed it.

Yes, show us how Gamespy fixed it...or said they fixed it even, something.

Why on earth would he abandon the old attack for some new one( the masterserver attack was his best one, seing as it went out of the communites control). The Masterserver attack was working effectively and had done so for three whole months.... so what would be the point of abandoing tjat plan for a new one.. that's like having a really great stradedgy , when you're doing really well and then just dropping it for something different

Can you please provide proof of it stopping besides some list, or that Gamespy did ANYTHING in this? Your entire argument and points are invalid without evidence.

He may have been right, but he was wrong in the first instance, mainly for failing to back up his statement. The initial statement was, of course, to reel us in. The only reason I didn't give any proof, which I had, from Zora's email, was because you stated that you wanted it from Gamespy, also, I was afraid I would have been flamed at, stating that I made it in notepad or some bullshit like that, not from you, but someone..

I'm not offended, I am just suprised at the amount of pessimists here.

Anyway, main thing is, attacks won't happen again, on a masterserver scale and the person responsible for his actions, has been defeated, yet, still will not reveal himself.

Augged servers are doing well and populated...

I know still some people do not see DXMS and FGS... and Sunny Side is paradise, but still has only original stock DXMP maps...

There is no DXSG... no DXAG...

I have a dream... that one day I will go on the server list and see Auggers fighting on beginners and elite servers, ppl fighting on DXMS and Sunny Side and DXAG and DXSG, all at the same time, like last year...

I think it is possible... but definitely needs everyone in the community to stop fighting and work together and introduce new players etc... regardless of preferred gametype...
