Just a curious question, is this server hosting DXSG_Smuggler_V17?
If not, may I put in a request for this map to be added to the list?

No it's not hosting it, and it will only host the current 2 maps.

Ermmmmmm.Cathedral too I should hope! (When it's released)
If Atlantis's maps can be fully tested etc, I think they should be allowed.

It HAS been fully tested, and also has support from Nobody because he played a major role in this map
Base doors, rings help, ideas, I even gave HIM a few ideas, lol.
But seriously, why not?

I think he just likes the default maps with a base and Goa'uld Ring-Transporters.

teh SG-1 Base, looks real good, at first i thought you push in the numbers and the standing up teleporter ( water - one) teleported you . dis apointed.
But still a great map.

Why I don't like the SG Smuggler map: It's not open. Area51Bunker = an open map, CMD = an open map. But Smuggler isn't.

Yeah, Nobody said that was impossible. I don't really see how though. I'm sure it would be simple enough to make a texture, then have it work in the same way as the ring-transporteres?

Nobody tried making a gate system, but DX engine can't support what would be required.

he hosted the A51 "day after" beta. it's bigger than smuggler,. some people preferred it to the originals, but it's as big as CMD at least.Smuggler wont work with superweps I think.I would like to see the unfinished Cathedral hosted anyway in the meantime. must be fun

"he" was referring to [A]Nobody, I was not aware you hosted a DXSG server, I thought it was shadowserversystems...
I was not aware also DXSG intended to only host current maps. I was under the impression that Nobody felt "everyone knows the maps" and that he would like the new ones e.g. Cathedral, a51_DayAfter etc ideally to be finished and hosted. He's worked on the a51_DayAfter, adding 4 rings, fixing the lights and reducing filesize, this is now in the hands of Atlantis who will be credited as co-author for finishing the last few rings and adding the texture for location dialling.
I can host this and Cathedral on my server and I'm sure Wunderland 1 and Wunderland 2 will also update their DXSG collection... but for my server, I'm not sure about super weapons.
