YES. I AM ECSTATIC. It seems as though it was just released today, but when it becomes available for download somewhere, I'm doing a complete analysis of that trailer.

Here's a few screencaps I took of the trailer. Anyone know what the symbol in the last pic is from? Also, the third one suggests that they might go with the EVER SO CLICHE'D "ROBOT RACISM" STORY.

Those pictures suggest an Overthrow or Something to do with the Government.. Maybe corrupted.

Also im also getting a sense that the game may be about a city split in 2 over augmented people and non-augmented people, Like half like them and half don't Kind of like us now.


If you use your imagination, It would make sense that they are building the game off this community.. If you REALLY think about it.

Still, no one commented on it. Good screenshots, btw. I couldn't see a lot in the trailer because the PC I am using (my laptop is fucked lol) is so fucking dark, even on max brightness.



That image kinda points a turn to the worst. Especially for the question "What DXIW ending did they use?" or "Did they even use a DXIW ending to continue the story?"

The only possible explanation I can think of, is the Templars, or something similar, is running. Just a guess though.

I think its safe to say this is going to be before bio/nano modification, or during its development?

Paul and JC were a new breed of augmented beings, and all the others within Deus Ex had more mech tech implanted on them which really shows, for instance the bartender at The Underworld Tavern, Anna Navarre, and Gunther Hermann. I'm not sure it would be before DX1, if so it would probably take the role of Paul Denton. All in all you may just get a whole new story within the Deus Ex world. I think in real life people would be definitely against augmented people walking everywhere.

Paul Denton didn't do much though, despite being the original and a pure being... There could be alot of Illuminati and MJ12 rivalry we have only heard about from a few people in the first game during the earlier years, and of course early UNATCO and its predecessor.

They should just hire JPS for the Dev Team.

I need to play the game again... the first one and skip to Area51. Why? Because, I want to see when JC and Paul were actually made. What their birth dates were. You can actually get quite a bit of info from that room with the tanks in it (where Page blows that door up).

For one, you see an augmentation in a tube (Alex being in it) and three others. Two for JC and Paul. Now, if the birth date is BEFORE 2027 then it's going to be... interesting. If it's ON 2027 then that's even more interesting and if it's AFTER well I dunno what to think.

As for a rivalry between MJ12 and Illuminati in it? That I think would be sweet to see. However, it still has references to augmentation. For all we know JC and Paul could've been the first properly released augmentated people, while their could perfectly well be previous ones that were simply "tests."

Thanks for that, saves me from installing the game lol. Well, that throws my theory out of the water. Still, the game may not be a prequel. I hope it isn't really, as I'd like to see JC in it again.

EDIT: Just realised. Paul is older than JC, correct? Well his tank is not found in Area51. So you cannot find his birth date. So when was Paul born? If it was two years before JC then my theory still works. It's not mentioned anywhere in the game, I don't think.

Paul is the original, hes actually not a clone just modified. JC is a clone of Paul, which also explains JC's lack of emotion.
Paul actually had a family, but he was also lied to that he is original.

Also no psychotic, in a sense nano augmentation isn't proper augmentation as its minimal as stated in the game, so people look less modified despite the wires and shining blue eyes.
Proper augmentation, more like over the top augmentation with Gunther, I'd love to play as a machine.

I suppose, and I assumed that nano-augmentation was just the modification of a former-human. As in a cyber-human sort of thing. Not a complete bot. And do we just post here considering the Trailer Analysis topic was locked?

EDIT: The III, IV, V and VI thing makes perfect sence. Look for those numbers in the Ten Commandments (or Decalogue).
