Takes place in 2027, thus copping out of anything mentioned in Deus Ex 1. The West Coast Quakes happened in 2030.

Well no, not really. Bob Page and Walton Simons could still make an appearance, as could the original people in the Illuminati. I will be surprise if Bob Page doesn't show up in the game, but I may not be too surprised if people like Beth DuClare don't.

In terms of how RPG it is, are we talking Fallout 3-style "yeh m8 gonna walk around da city wiff da rifle n dog" or Far Cry 2-style "k kill dese guyz here pl0x but u must drive to da location" ?

I read something yesterday that it focuses more on action than RPG but still have some RPG elements. So I guess Far Cry 2 style.

I think they should rename it to Snowblind 2 then.

Meh, judge it once you've played it. This happens every time a new game's made, and I'm guilty of doing it often myself: People judge a game before it's even be released. I will never trust a review nor what anyone else tells me about the game, I'd rather try it first hand; by my own hands.

Just because some paid-off reviewer over at IGN likes it or one of my mates hate's it doesn't mean I'm not going to try out a game I've been looking forward to. Whilst one person may hate a game, another person will like it. Judge it on what you think and after you've played it.
