Awesome.

But.. I don't understand, if it's a prequel.. why does he look more stronger, more advance.. and the stuff looks more advance.. like buildings or spacecrafts.. (which btw DX1 had helicopters)

yeah that's one of the silly issues

He's made of machinery, that is not advanced as the nano machine agents of Paul Denton's and Alex D's eras. He's more primitive despite how sleek he looks. He's no more advanced than barmaid in Hell's kitchen or the MIB in DX1 if you're solely talking about Mech augs.

and the stuff looks more advance.. like buildings or spacecrafts..

Advancement in the real world's computer graphic technology / the Deus ExWorld is only starting a great recession which reduces it to the state it was in DX1. Plagued after wars, poverty and riots.

Compare the black helicopter from DX1 to the Black Hawk. Twat nipples.

Screenshots are in the PC Gamer issue, scans are around the internet straight away. It shows FPS, characters and the apartment safe houses.

PDX.ru?, don't bother paying people.

Actual game mechanics, physics, the mechanical augmentations during gameplay, etc. is what I meant, sorry for confusion. I'm just curious as how they're gonna be used, especially in 1st person (akin to the finishes in AVP3?)

It's going to play as announced, FPS and TPS in cover. As shown in screenshots.

yea i just saw it on youtube, looks really nice, but that's a cutscene, for all we know it's nothing like the actual gameplay, hope it turns out well though.

Of course it's nothing like actual gameplay, all those things are pre-rendered. The screenshots do look promising but, again, need gameplay to see if the stelath element has gone astray.

with them essentially kicking the shadow-hiding system out of the game, i don't doubt it's going to be pretty wonky.

Actually, those are in game cutscenes from Square Enix, which are real time.

Alright, good stuff. Engine seems to be doing its job nicely at least. Who'd have thought from the Tomb Raider engine.

-Primarily a stealth game, trying not to be primarily a shooter
-line of sight stealth mechanics. Reported to "not make a mockery of the AI" like many stealth games
-Reported that 3-4 bullets until you do die
-25 years before Deus Ex 1 before mechanical augmentation became obsolete
-Special skills you use take up energy "pips" that do not regenerate. These arm blades are part of that. Medpack-like system for restoring it.
-Cover system (probably takes you into third person)
-Instead of invisible augmentations like Deus Ex 1, all augmentations will take a part of your body and be visibly replaced to show you have that augmentation. Once you unlock that augmentation you spend experience points to unlock 4-5 other abilities that augmentation has to add an RPG element.
-Advertises AJ (Adam Jensen, your character) as a Clint Eastwood with robot arms.
-Social elements are there in full and said to be INCREDIBLY branched out.
-Structures conversations from casual discussions to "verbal fights"
-Layered city shown in trailer is basically a new, more advanced city built on top of slums.
-Sprawling environments like Deus Ex 1
-You can talk to every single person in the game. There are conversations for each person to, not just one line responses.
-AJ is a security guard that got his arms blown off by augmented assholes, not an agent of some sort.
-Hacking is there and is a risk of both being spotted and screwing up and having the registry trace the hacking back to you
-Author says that the developers have preserved the openness of Deus Ex1
-Control of in-game objects. Crates can be moved and used as cover, throw so hard it kills guys, etc.
-To add to the stealth element you can pick up living or dead bodies to hide them. Guards who awaken after being knocked out will hunt after you

LOL, reminds me of throwing crates off CMD's high points and killing people

Sounds like a cool game.

But it's useless to analyse something like this now, it isn't a vague teaser anymore it doesn't need or is it good that it gets in-'depth' analysing.

You're just being a pretentious speculator now. Such a bad video.

In my post there was a sarcastic comment about enjoy your 15 cents per 1000 views but I thought you won't be stupid enough to try and impress.
