"almost enough" because I still expect it to be awesome
Just not happy about supporting a publisher which seems to be verging on doing Bobby Kotick type stuff

Just received word from the INTERNET backlash so far that this only affects America, sadly for the full game you have to purchase from GameStop. (shittiest store ever)
Any preorder gets the entire package in Europe. Congratulations.

Same, but IIRC 'early 2011'... Where'd August come in to it?

In other news, AUTOMATIC UNLOCKING DEVICE.
Why not throw in a sonic screwdriver as well?

The Automatic Unlocking Device is a lockpick which acts like the lockpick from Deus Ex.
You seriously are against that?, the lockpick in DX3 = MINI GAMES

Oh cool, let's put in fucking annoying minigames which make no real sense which already plagues the FPS market.

The extended trailer's on The Escapist now. Shows some more footage and shit

The last couple minutes, with ROCKET ADAM and that-fucking-hole-in-the-sea are particularly interesting

Analysts are saying that hole in the ocean will be called Panchea, it's about harnessing thermal energy. Xenon corp may be the XNG on the ships, although they are container ships, they may refer to Xenon Natural Gas. Panchea is a greek concept, an allegory to Bob Page's speech about Aquinas, Panchea was an island for Gods. This isn't confirmed information though.
this is cool - Find the hacking game.

And yes, there will be no lockpicks in DX3, only hacking, conversation or stealthing through doors.

Nice site, I wonder if the ingame hacking will be like on that site.

no it's a lot more advanced and looks different.
The site obviously is flash-based and the hacking in DX3 looks more sophisticated.
You can see it in the "Penthouse" gameplay trailer.

Went to gamestop today and they had DX3 along with Dragon Age 2 on the shelves, for pre-ordering.
Just one problem though
They
only
had
the
PS3
version

Meh.
Also don't buy Dragon Age 2, will explain this at a later date. It's a complete mess, but that's what you get for making an RPG in 10 months. E.g. it looks terrible and worse than DA1, it's 7gb while DA1 is 15gb... they're blaming it on compression. You know something didn't add up with that claim.

15GB?!

typo
nah da1 was full of content even if it was dungeon crawling, considering only 10 months they've been developing da2, it's a lot less and for more money.

Wait for digital download options for PC, if it's STEAMWORKS it'll be on the retail version, if Steamworks get the retail, if it's not STEAMWORKS just get it from STEAM.
You'd want the augmented version in whatever form, no matter what. They're splitting DLC, most likely out of their control and a publisher requirement to create future profits with DLC.
Please note everyone: every recent Square Enix game (including Eidos) has been a STEAMWORKS game.
