What are the Developers doing with the extra time before release?
They originally said 2009, but since it looks awesome, no-one cares it's 2011.
But just what are they doing?
making DLC? if so, what?
making SDK?
making Multiplayer?
making certain aspects optional?
making cupcakes?

OK so with the Press Embargo lifting on the 24th, we'll get an insight into the first two levels / 3 hours of DXHR.
Thanks to the comic releasing some spoilers, it is already possible to make a very good guess of the DXHR elements.
Basically it appears Megan discovers nano-augging or the ability for mech-augs to be accepted by any host body, not just those whose bodies don't reject the implants. JC woops I mean Adam, is pointed in the direction of the "NSF", this time Purity First and Humanity Front (the natches or naturals, 0-auggers), but it seems soon into the game he will be forced to choose sides, just as JC was. Since Adam was shot in the head, we wonder why his arms were removed and he was augmented by Sarif, who probably has social enhancer aug anyway and talks the legs off any donkey. So Sarif is probably another Manderley, speaking of which we will see running Detroit Police Station (there's only one in Detroit?)
Anyway to hazard a guess at the end of the game, Jensen will be probably the one faced with allowing the technology to be used, or destroying it or hiding it away, just like DX1.
Pangu, the mythical island could even refer to Liberty Island and this storyline would explain...
1. Why Manderley isn't augged
2. Why mech augs aren't that cool and Jordan Shea left
3. Why not everyone is mech-augged
I can imagine closing shot of the Illuminati ending is a student of Everett called Bob Page being given the technology for "safe keeping"...
I wonder whether the "Fall" or any other events mentioned in DX1 will be seen in DXHR. We are told it will end with the formation of Unatco and the bombing of Liberty Island.

DX:HR is in its final stages, it'll be soon that we find out whether they're actually polishing a turd or spawning a masterpiece. My heart hopes for the latter but my brain suspects the former...
