It is possible to modify a few files for DXHR, some people have already made their own custom skins etc.

Be happy, might be more down the pipe line.

Yeah people found ways to extract the big files on wednesday.

I hope it's possible to play the game with the big files extracted in some way, should fix a lot of issues people are having at the moment.

High res textures would be nice. Not moaning about the game being ugly or anything, but sometimes it can be a bit blurry.

The game is meant to be that way. If you notice, there are discrete markings/smudges on your screen as an overlay that creates this effect.

I personally love it. It adds characteristic.

I think one of the main requests is soundtrack file swap...

DXHR's music is brilliant for it's own game. You've got to love it to be ambient because it would detract from the game. It's fresh because most games go up in your face with loud booming scores.

Don't know what Aidan's post above means, texture quality in this game is rather bad at times. Would love more bitmap aliasing on it through official or mod means like DXIW.

I would like a modelswap mod, I would love to do an augmentless run using Adam's model at the start. Also a mod to disable HUD and remove all augmentations from game. For fun of course.

Also a mod to remove radar augmentation at the start or a difficulty which both gives you a Praxis point instead. The game would be a lot more threatening if the radar wasn't an AID.

Unrelated personal opinion: Anyone who uses the CASIE (social enhancer) augmentation is missing out, wish I didn't use it first time around. Social encounters/bosses are much more fun without it as it's a win button. Also, highlighting is passable but the mission markers are horrible and ugly and you should feel bad for using it.

They should make CASIE a two part aug instead of the whole packing

Unlock (2 praxis) - Indepth personality review in HUD
Upgrade (1 praxis) - Pheromone induced conversation

Of course you can basically just use CASIE without the pheromones which performs the same thing

Nah I wouldn't have it as a two tiered augmentation. CASIE is as good as it can get for 2 points.

I don't agree with tiered augmentation ideas from Bale either, but I would like stuff like highjump/Icarus waste bioenergy so I don't end up with 50 candybars and jars at the end. The problem definitely relies in takedowns/recharging last battery, so make it threatening.

RE: Hacking, it's good except for DOOR keypads. I would like lockpicking back. Apathetic to multitools, as hacking skill is better in DXHR (actual tiers, not a "faster and allows you to hack turrets/cameras" which are also tiers)

Also the obvious thing, have a hardcore mode where you only have;

Basic hud functions
No radar
No energy recharge
No health regenerate
Hacking is security level 1 only with no camera control
No fortify in that hacking requirement

etc etc

All of these you have to buy with praxis

I resent hacking being necessary for progression in objectives, seeing as you can fail. Currently doing the shanghai justice side mission for malik, and cannot hack the final keypad (I am a high enough level, I just can't hack it).

Also James I always found I never had enough candy bars, as I use takedowns a lot. Also RAGE when I fill my bars up and get fucking EMP'd.

I literally had 9 boxes of candybars at end game. My second playthrough was FULL of usage of candy aswell.

Max, search EVERYWHERE.

You can quite literally find plenty of candy, however.. This will only come to those that search well enough.

Of course you can buy candy as well if you are really that short

Since credits are plentiful
